Then he made the ten golden lampstands in the way prescribed for them, and he set them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left.

Then I said to him,“ What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”And I responded the second time and said to him,“ What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?”So he answered me, saying,“ Do you not know what these are?” And I said,“ No, my lord.”Then he said,“ These are the two anointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then the angel who had been speaking with me returned and woke me, like a person who is awakened from his sleep.And he said to me,“ What do you see?” And I said,“ I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side.”

As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

“ Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand, its base and its shaft, are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it.Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side.Three cups shall be shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, a bulb and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the other branch, a bulb and a flower— the same for six branches going out from the lampstand;and on the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers.A bulb shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.Their bulbs and their branches shall be of one piece with it; all of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold.Then you shall make its lamps seven in number; and they shall mount its lamps so as to shed light on the space in front of it.Its tongs and its trays shall be of pure gold.It shall be made from a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.See that you make them by the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain.

A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

He made the lampstand of hammered work, its base and its shaft; its cups, its bulbs, and its flowers were of one piece with it.There were six branches going out of its sides; three branches of the lampstand from the one side of it and three branches of the lampstand from the other side of it;three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower on one branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower on the other branch— so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.And on the lampstand there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers;and a bulb was under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.Their bulbs and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was a single hammered work of pure gold.And he made its seven lamps with its tongs and its trays of pure gold.He made it and all its utensils from a talent of pure gold.

Then they shall take a violet cloth and cover the lampstand for the light, along with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all its oil containers, by which they attend to it;
