He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it.

Huram made a huge metal bowl for washing. Its shape was round. It measured 15 feet from rim to rim. It was seven and a half feet high. And it was 45 feet around.

Then he made the sea of cast metal. It was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference.

Then Huram cast a great round basin, 15 feet across from rim to rim, called the Sea. It was 7 1/2 feet deep and about 45 feet in circumference.

He made the cast metal basin, 15 feet from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 7½ feet high and 45 feet in circumference.

He also he made the Sea of cast metal ten cubits from brim to brim, circular in shape, and its height was five cubits, and it was thirty cubits in circumference.

And he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and the height thereof was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about.

He made the cast metal reservoir, 15 feet from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 7 1/2 feet high and 45 feet in circumference.

And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other:[ it was] round all about, and his height[ was] five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

He also made the large bronze basin called“ The Sea.” It measured 15 feet from rim to rim, was circular in shape, and stood seven-and-a-half feet high. Its circumference was 45 feet.

『你要用銅作洗濯盆、做洗濯的用處；也要用銅作盆座。要將盆放在會棚和祭壇之間，將水放在盆裏；亞倫和他的兒子們要在那裏洗手洗腳。他們進會棚的時候、要用水洗，免得死亡；或是挨近祭壇前供職、燻火祭給永恆主的時候，也要洗手洗腳，免得死亡：這要做他們的條例，做亞倫和他的後裔世世代代永遠的條例。』

大衛又從哈大底謝的提巴和均城中奪取了極多的銅；所羅門用它來製造銅海、銅柱、和一切的銅器。

亞哈斯王砍斷了盆座邊緣，將洗濯盆從座上挪下來，又把銅海從馱海的銅牛上拆下來、放在鋪石地。
