And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

當日耶和華與亞伯蘭約、曰、我以斯土、賜爾苗裔、自埃及河至百辣大河、

自曠野及利巴嫩、至百辣大河、赫人遍地、爰及大海、日入之處、為爾境界。

耶路撒冷爾室在焉、列王獻禮兮、

我延袤爾境、自紅海至非利士人海、自曠野至大河、斯土之民、付於爾手、逐於爾前。

諸匪類曰、斯人也、曷能拯我。故藐視之、不饋禮物。掃羅置若罔聞。

維昔英主、都耶路撒冷、撫有河西四境、餉稅所入、盡歸諸己。

所羅門統轄列王、至大河至非利士人地、延及埃及境、因王富有、耶路撒冷人視銀猶石、視柏香木猶原隰之桑。人驅群馬、自埃及列國而至、獻於所羅門。先知拿單之書、示羅人亞希雅先知之書、與先見者易多、責尼八子耶羅破暗之書、載所羅門事特詳。所羅門在耶路撒冷治以色列四十年。所羅門薨、葬於父大闢之邑、子羅波暗繼位。

國以鞏固、猶大族眾饋禮物、極其尊榮、貨財甚饒。

自大河之西、亦自的薩延及亞薩列王皆為所羅門所轄、四方平康。

爾足所履之地、必為爾得、自曠野至利巴嫩、自百辣河至西海。

自東海至西海、自大河至地極、悉歸統轄兮。居荒服者、拜跪於前、為仇敵者、望塵俯伏兮、大失海島之王、將饋禮物、示巴西巴之主、將納貢稅兮、列王稽首、萬姓歸誠兮。

耶和華上帝、要當敬畏、爾曹許願、必償之兮、凡從之者、宜獻禮物兮、

亞述王撒馬尼斯攻何西、何西臣服納貢、

眾至耶路撒冷獻禮於耶和華、納貢於猶大王、自後希西家昌大於列邦。○
