And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

但是有些無賴子說：『這傢伙怎能拯救我們呢？』就藐視他，沒有給他送禮物。

從前也曾有王管理耶路撒冷，統轄大河以西那邊全地，貢物賦稅、和服役都進獻給王。

所羅門統管諸王，從大河到非利士地、直到埃及的邊界。王使銀子在耶路撒冷像石頭一樣，使香柏木像低原上的無花果屬桑樹那麼多。人從慕斯利和各地為馬運出口、來到所羅門那裏。所羅門其他的事、始末不是都寫在神言人拿單的《記錄》上、示羅人亞希雅的《神言書》上、和見異象者易多論尼八兒子耶羅波安的《異象書》上麼？所羅門在耶路撒冷作王管理以色列眾人有四十年。所羅門跟他列祖一同長眠，人將他埋葬在他父親大衛城裏；他兒子羅波安接替他作王。

故此永恆主就堅立他手下的國；猶大眾人也給約沙法獻禮物；約沙法遂大有財富和尊榮。

因為是他做大官在管理大河西邊全地、從提弗薩直到迦薩，他在管理大河西邊的諸王；在他周圍四方他都得享太平。

凡你們腳掌所踏的地方都必歸於你們：從曠野到利巴嫩、從伯拉大河、直到西海、都要做你們的境界。

願他掌權柄，從這海到那海，從大河到地極。願他的敵人在他面前屈身；願他的仇敵餂着塵土。願他施和沿海島嶼的列王都進貢；願示巴和西巴的列王都呈獻貢品。願列王都向他下拜；願列國都服事他。

你們許願、務要向永恆主你們的上帝償還；他四圍的人都必將貢物帶來、獻與那可畏懼的主；

亞述王撒縵以色上來攻擊何細亞，何細亞就臣服他，給他進貢。

有許多人將供物帶到耶路撒冷、獻與永恆主，也帶寶貴之物送給猶大王希西家，以致從那以後希西家在列國人眼中受到高舉。
