And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

所羅門統管從幼發拉底河到非利士地區，遠至埃及邊境的諸王。王使耶路撒冷的金銀多如石頭，使香柏木多如丘陵的無花果樹。所羅門的馬匹都是從埃及和其他國家運來的。所羅門一生的事蹟，自始至終都記在拿單先知的史記、示羅人亞希雅的《預言書》和易多先見論尼八的兒子耶羅波安的《啟示書》中。所羅門在耶路撒冷統治以色列四十年，他與祖先同眠後，葬在他父親大衛的城裡。他兒子羅波安繼位。

因此，耶和華鞏固他的王位，所有的猶大人都向他進貢，他極有財富和尊榮。

所羅門統治幼發拉底河西面所有的國家，從提弗薩直到迦薩，四境安寧。

你們腳掌踏過的地方都要歸你們。你們的疆界南到曠野，北到黎巴嫩，東到幼發拉底河，西到地中海。

願他的疆域橫跨洋海，從幼發拉底河直到地極。願曠野的居民都來向他下拜，敵人都仆倒在塵土中。願他施、示巴和西巴的君王都來納貢稱臣。願君王都敬拜他，萬國都事奉他。

你們要向你們的上帝耶和華許願、還願，願四周的鄰邦都帶禮物來獻給當受敬畏的主。

亞述王撒縵以色攻打以色列，何細亞納貢稱臣。

許多人帶著祭物到耶路撒冷獻給耶和華，也帶許多名貴的禮物送給猶大王希西迦。此後，希西迦受到各國的敬重。
