Then Solomon said,“ You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫用诚实、公义、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又为他存留大恩，赐他一个儿子坐在他的位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你的仆人——我父大卫本着诚实、公义、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，并且一如既往地以厚恩待他，让他儿子今天继承他的王位。

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫以诚实、公义和正直的心在你面前行事为人，你就以极大的慈爱待他；你又为他存留这极大的慈爱，赐给他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所羅門說：「你僕人－我父親大衛用誠實、公義、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又為他存留大恩，賜他一個兒子坐在他的位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你曾向你僕人我父親大衛大施慈愛，因為他用忠信、公義、正直的心行在你面前。你又為他存留大慈愛，賜他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你曾向你僕人我父親大衛大施慈愛，因為他用忠信、公義、正直的心行在你面前。你又為他存留大慈愛，賜他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你的僕人——我父大衛本著誠實、公義、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，並且一如既往地以厚恩待他，讓他兒子今天繼承他的王位。

所羅門說：“你僕人我父親大衛以誠實、公義和正直的心在你面前行事為人，你就以極大的慈愛待他；你又為他存留這極大的慈愛，賜給他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：『你僕人我父親大衛怎樣以忠信、公義、正直的心、與你同在、行於你面前，你就怎樣向他施大而堅固的愛，又將這大而堅固的愛留給他，賜給他一個兒子坐他的王位，正如今日一樣。

所羅門曰、昔爾僕我父大衛、以誠實公義中正、行於爾前、爾循是而施以鴻恩、復加厚惠、賜之一子、踐乎其位、有如今日、

所羅門曰、昔我父大闢、真實無妄、行善為義於爾前、爾施厚恩、使子繼其位、今日之事為證。

所羅門曰、主之僕我父大衛以誠實善義正心、行於主前、主向之施鴻恩、又為之存此大恩、使其子繼繼原文作坐其位、有如今日、

Solomon answered,“ You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

Solomon answered,“ You have been very kind to my father David, your servant. That’s because he was faithful to you. He did what was right. His heart was honest. And you have continued to be very kind to him. You have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

And Solomon said,“ You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you. And you have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

Solomon replied,“ You showed great and faithful love to your servant my father, David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued to show this great and faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to your servant, my father David, because he walked before you in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

And Solomon said:“ You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great lovingkindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great lovingkindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as[ it is] this day.

Solomon replied,“ You demonstrated great loyalty to your servant, my father David, as he served you faithfully, properly, and sincerely. You have maintained this great loyalty to this day by allowing his son to sit on his throne.

Solomon said,“ You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, because he walked before you in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

The king has also said this:‘ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who has granted one to sit on my throne today while my own eyes see it.’ ”

As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and honesty, acting in accordance with everything that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My ordinances,

so that the Lord may fulfill His promise which He spoke regarding me, saying,‘ If your sons are careful about their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and all their soul, you shall not be deprived of a man to occupy the throne of Israel.’

One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness, And speaks truth in his heart.

Now then, this is what you shall say to My servant David:‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ I Myself took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be leader over My people Israel.And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have eliminated all your enemies from you; I will also make a great name for you, like the names of the great men who are on the earth.And I will establish a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, so that they may live in their own place and not be disturbed again, nor will malicious people oppress them anymore as previously,even from the day that I appointed judges over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. The Lord also declares to you that the Lord will make a house for you.When your days are finished and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come from you, and I will establish his kingdom.

The Lord lives, and blessed be my Rock; And exalted be my God, the rock of my salvation,The God who executes vengeance for me, And brings down peoples under me,Who also brings me out from my enemies; You also raise me above those who rise up against me; You rescue me from the violent person.Therefore I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name.He is a tower of salvation to His king, And shows favor to His anointed, To David and his descendants forever.”

The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has repaid me.For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not acted wickedly against my God.For all His judgments were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me.I was also blameless with Him, And I kept myself from my wrongdoing.Therefore the Lord has repaid me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.

Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.“ But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.

Nathan then said to David,“ You yourself are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ It is I who anointed you as king over Israel, and it is I who rescued you from the hand of Saul.I also gave you your master’s house and put your master’s wives into your care, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have added to you many more things like these!

So I considered it necessary to urge the brothers that they go on ahead to you and arrange in advance your previously promised generous gift, that the same would be ready as a generous gift, and not as one grudgingly given due to greediness.

Return to your rest, my soul, For the Lord has dealt generously with you.

It is not this way for My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My household;

“ Please, Lord, just remember how I have walked before You wholeheartedly and in truth, and have done what is good in Your sight!” And Hezekiah wept profusely.

Deal generously with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.

“ Go and say to My servant David,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Should you build Me a house for My dwelling?

you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.

I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me.

He also chose His servant David And took him from the sheepfolds;From the care of the ewes with nursing lambs He brought him To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them with his skillful hands.

because David did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and did not deviate from anything that He commanded him all the days of his life, except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.
