Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face.“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked.

Then Zedekiah, the son of Kenaanah, went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. Zedekiah asked Micaiah,“ Do you think the spirit sent by the Lord left me? Do you think that spirit went to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him across the face.“ Since when did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?” he demanded.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah on the cheek, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the LORD leave me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached and struck Micaiah on the cheek; and he said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord pass from me to speak to you?”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of Jehovah from me to speak unto thee?

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah in the face, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?”

But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

大祭司亞拿尼亞就吩咐站在他旁邊的人打保羅的嘴巴。

女子啊！現在你要聚集成隊；仇敵正在圍攻我們；他們用杖擊打以色列執政者的臉頰。（本節在《馬索拉文本》為4:14）

他要讓人打他的臉頰，要飽受凌辱。

基拿拿的兒子西底家走前來，打米該雅的臉，說：“耶和華的靈是怎樣離開了我，去與你說話呢？”米該雅說：“你進密室躲藏的那一天，就必看見了。”

於是有些人就向他吐唾沫，蒙住他的臉。用拳頭打他，對他說：“你說預言吧！”差役把他拉去，用手掌打他。

主耶和華開啟了我的耳朵，我並沒有違抗，也沒有後退。我把我的背給打我的人打，把我的腮頰給拔我鬍鬚的人拔；我並沒有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。

基拿拿的兒子西底家做了些鐵角，說：“耶和華這樣說：‘你要用這些鐵角牴觸亞蘭人，直到把他們完全消滅。’”

又用一根蘆葦打他的頭，向他吐唾沫，並且跪下來拜他。他們戲弄完了，就把他的紫色的外袍脫下，給他穿回自己的衣服，帶他出去，要釘十字架。

“他救了別人，卻不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，現在可以從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧，因為他說自己是神的兒子。”

“如果世人恨你們，你們要知道他們在恨你們以先，已經恨我了。

你們要記住我對你們說過的話：‘僕人不能大過主人。’他們若迫害我，也必定迫害你們；他們若遵守我的話，也必定遵守你們的話。

“基督啊，向我們說預言吧！是誰打你呢？”

可是我告訴你們，不要與惡人對抗，有人打你的右臉，把另一邊也轉過來讓他打；

耶和華已經立了你西番雅為祭司，代替耶何耶大，作耶和華殿中的總管，你就應把所有妄自說預言的人，都帶上腳鐐枷鎖。現在，亞拿突人耶利米向你們說預言，你為甚麼不斥責他呢？

於是哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知頸項上的軛取下來，折斷了。哈拿尼雅又當著眾民面前說：“耶和華這樣說：‘兩年之內，我必這樣從列國的頸項上，折斷巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軛。’”於是耶利米先知就走了。
