Dressed in their royal robes, the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of the gate of Samaria, with all the prophets prophesying before them.

The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, were wearing their royal robes. They were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor. It was near the entrance of the gate of Samaria. All the prophets were prophesying in front of them.

Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

King Ahab of Israel and King Jehoshaphat of Judah, dressed in their royal robes, were sitting on thrones at the threshing floor near the gate of Samaria. All of Ahab’s prophets were prophesying there in front of them.

以色列王與猶大王、服朝衣、居王位、在撒馬利亞邑門之場、眾先知預言於前。基拿拿子西底家、作鐵角數枝、曰、耶和華云、爾可以此角觸亞蘭軍、盡滅而止。眾先知預言曰、可往基列之喇末而獲捷、蓋耶和華將使王戰而克。

爾出欲何觀耶、人衣美服乎、夫衣美服者、在王宮也、

則備袞服、路馬、王冕。命大臣以此賜之、為之執轡、遊行邑衢、播告於民云、惟王大賚如是。

希律定期、衣王服、坐于位、面諭之、

越三日后衣朝服、進深宮、入內院、至殿前、王坐於堂上。

惟彼先知、言爾不必服事巴比倫王、所言誕妄、爾勿聽從。耶和華未遣之、彼藉其名、所言詭譎、如爾信從、耶和華必驅爾、爰及先知與爾偕亡。耶利米告祭司庶民曰、耶和華云、先知有言、巴比倫不久必返我殿之重器、斯言荒誕、爾勿信之。當服事巴比倫王、而得生、何必逆命、使斯邑傾圮。

以色列王告約沙法曰、我將微服入陳、惟爾衣王服。以色列王遂改服色、入陳戰鬥。

以色列王乃集先知、約四百人、告之曰、我欲往基列之喇末、一戰、行止若何。曰、往哉、耶和華將使彼敗於王手。

至午後、近獻祭之時、彼偽為憑神而言、實無聲響、亦無應對而垂顧之者。

耶和華諭我云、以色列族先知、中心思維、造為幻境、人子、爾當預言、後必降災、使聽耶和華言。主耶和華曰、彼偽先知、未睹異象、心有所思、而言虛幻、禍必不遠。以色列族乎、爾之先知、譬彼野狐。耶和華降災、以色列族、遭侵伐、城垣見毀、其時爾之先知、不敢爭先禦敵、彼所見者、虛偽之異象、所占者無憑之卜筮、自謂傳耶和華之命、然我未嘗示之、未嘗遣之、彼使人冀其言有應、是事豈不有之乎。

明日、亞基帕、百尼基、諸千夫長、邑中長者、大設威儀、入聽訟所、非士都命取保羅至、

惟積財於天、蠹不食、銹不壞、盜不穴不竊之處、
