耶和華云、我必降災於爾、掃除乎爾、爾之丁男、無論被束者、自由者、悉絕之於以色列中、

耶和華必降災於爾、絶爾後裔、不遺一男、爾之子孫、在以色列族中、自主及僕、靡有孑遺。

主云、我必降災於爾、盡滅爾家、凡屬爾之男、或主或作已長大之人或僕、或作未長大之人必絕之於以色列人中、

He says,‘ I am going to bring disaster on you. I will wipe out your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel— slave or free.

So the Lord says,‘ I am going to bring horrible trouble on you. I will destroy your children after you. I will destroy every male in Israel who is related to you. It does not matter whether they are slaves or free.

Behold, I will bring disaster upon you. I will utterly burn you up, and will cut off from Ahab every male, bond or free, in Israel.

So now the Lord says,‘ I will bring disaster on you and consume you. I will destroy every one of your male descendants, slave and free alike, anywhere in Israel!

This is what the LORD says:‘ I am about to bring disaster on you and will eradicate your descendants: I will wipe out all of Ahab’s males, both slave and free, in Israel;

Behold, I am bringing disaster upon you, and I will utterly sweep you away, and will eliminate from Ahab every male, both bond and free in Israel;

‘ Behold, I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your posterity, and will cut off from Ahab every male in Israel, both bond and free.

Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will utterly sweep thee away and will cut off from Ahab every man- child, and him that is shut up and him that is left at large in Israel:

This is what the Lord says:‘ I am about to bring disaster on you and will sweep away your descendants: I will eliminate all of Ahab’s males, both slave and free, in Israel;

Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,

The LORD says,‘ Look, I am ready to bring disaster on you. I will destroy you and cut off every last male belonging to Ahab in Israel, including even the weak and incapacitated.

Behold, I will bring evil on you, and will utterly sweep you away and will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, and him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

“‘ Because of this, I am going to bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam. I will cut off from Jeroboam every last male in Israel— slave or free. I will burn up the house of Jeroboam as one burns dung, until it is all gone. (niv)

Now there were in Samaria seventy sons of the house of Ahab. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria: to the officials of Jezreel, to the elders and to the guardians of Ahab’s children. He said,“ You have your master’s sons with you and you have chariots and horses, a fortified city and weapons. Now as soon as this letter reaches you,choose the best and most worthy of your master’s sons and set him on his father’s throne. Then fight for your master’s house.”But they were terrified and said,“ If two kings could not resist him, how can we?”So the palace administrator, the city governor, the elders and the guardians sent this message to Jehu:“ We are your servants and we will do anything you say. We will not appoint anyone as king; you do whatever you think best.”Then Jehu wrote them a second letter, saying,“ If you are on my side and will obey me, take the heads of your master’s sons and come to me in Jezreel by this time tomorrow.” Now the royal princes, seventy of them, were with the leading men of the city, who were rearing them.When the letter arrived, these men took the princes and slaughtered all seventy of them. They put their heads in baskets and sent them to Jehu in Jezreel. (niv)

So Jehu killed everyone in Jezreel who remained of the house of Ahab, as well as all his chief men, his close friends and his priests, leaving him no survivor.Jehu then set out and went toward Samaria. At Beth Eked of the Shepherds,he met some relatives of Ahaziah king of Judah and asked,“ Who are you?” They said,“ We are relatives of Ahaziah, and we have come down to greet the families of the king and of the queen mother.”“ Take them alive!” he ordered. So they took them alive and slaughtered them by the well of Beth Eked— forty- two of them. He left no survivor. (niv)

The Lord had seen how bitterly everyone in Israel, whether slave or free, was suffering; there was no one to help them. (niv)

May God deal with David, be it ever so severely, if by morning I leave alive one male of all who belong to him!” (niv)

When Jehu came to Samaria, he killed all who were left there of Ahab’s family; he destroyed them, according to the word of the Lord spoken to Elijah. (niv)

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. (niv)

The Lord will vindicate his people and relent concerning his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free. (niv)

The Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” (niv)

Otherwise, as surely as the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, who has kept me from harming you, if you had not come quickly to meet me, not one male belonging to Nabal would have been left alive by daybreak.” (niv)

You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord’s servants shed by Jezebel.The whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel— slave or free.I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah. (niv)
