and he used the stones to rebuild the altar in the name of the Lord. Then he dug a trench around the altar large enough to hold about three gallons.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Then build an altar to the Lord your God here on this hilltop sanctuary, laying the stones carefully. Sacrifice the bull as a burnt offering on the altar, using as fuel the wood of the Asherah pole you cut down.”

Early the next morning the people built an altar and presented their burnt offerings and peace offerings on it.
