挪亞就這樣行。凡神所吩咐的，他都照樣行了。

耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」

他將近百歲的時候，雖然想到自己的身體如同已死，撒拉的生育已經斷絕，他的信心還是不軟弱；並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裏起疑惑，反倒因信心裏得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，

耶穌說：「婦人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，給你成全了吧。」從那時候，她女兒就好了。

耶穌叫門徒來，說：「我實在告訴你們，這窮寡婦投入庫裏的，比眾人所投的更多。

亞伯蘭就照着耶和華的吩咐去了；羅得也和他同去。亞伯蘭出哈蘭的時候年七十五歲。

亞伯拉罕因着信，被試驗的時候，就把以撒獻上；這便是那歡喜領受應許的，將自己獨生的兒子獻上。
