“我从尘土中提拔你，立你为我以色列子民的王，你却重蹈耶罗波安的覆辙，使我的子民陷入罪中，惹我发怒。

「我從塵土中提拔你，立你為我以色列子民的王，你卻重蹈耶羅波安的覆轍，使我的子民陷入罪中，惹我發怒。

『我既從塵土中舉起了你，立你做人君來管理我人民以色列，你竟走耶羅波安所走的路，使我人民以色列犯了罪，用他們的罪來惹我發怒，

昔我舉爾於塵埃、立為我民以色列之君、而爾行耶羅波安之道、使我民以色列陷罪、激我之怒、

昔爾辱在泥塗、我舉爾為王、治我以色列族之民、爾從耶羅破暗所為、使以色列族犯罪、干我震怒、

我自塵埃中舉爾、立爾為我民以色列之君、乃爾從耶羅波安所為、使我民以色列人陷於罪、作惡干犯我怒、

“ I lifted you up from the dust and appointed you ruler over my people Israel, but you followed the ways of Jeroboam and caused my people Israel to sin and to arouse my anger by their sins.

“ I lifted you up from the dust. I appointed you king over my people Israel. But you lived the way Jeroboam had lived. You also caused my people Israel to sin. And their sins made me very angry.

“ Since I exalted you out of the dust and made you leader over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made my people Israel to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,

“ I lifted you out of the dust to make you ruler of my people Israel, but you have followed the evil example of Jeroboam. You have provoked my anger by causing my people Israel to sin.

“ Because I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over my people Israel, but you have walked in the ways of Jeroboam and have caused my people Israel to sin, angering me with their sins,

“ Since I exalted you from the dust and made you leader over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have misled My people Israel into sin, provoking Me to anger with their sins,

“ Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made My people Israel sin, to provoke Me to anger with their sins,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

“ Because I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, but you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have caused My people Israel to sin, provoking Me with their sins,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

“ I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over my people Israel. Yet you followed in Jeroboam’s footsteps and encouraged my people Israel to sin; their sins have made me angry.

“ Because I exalted you out of the dust, and made you prince over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

他行耶和華看為惡的事，行耶羅波安的路，犯了耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪中的那罪。

你去告訴耶羅波安：‘耶和華以色列的神這樣說：我從人民中提拔了你，又立了你作治理我的子民以色列的領袖。

他從灰塵中抬舉貧寒的人，從糞堆中提拔窮乏的人，使他們與顯貴同坐，承受尊貴的座位。大地的柱子屬於耶和華，他把全地安放在柱子上面。

這事以後，耶羅波安還不從他的惡道轉回，竟然把平民立為邱壇的祭司；願意的，他都把他們分別為聖，立他們為邱壇的祭司。這事成為耶羅波安的家的罪，以致他的家從地上被塗抹與除滅。

有一位神人來見以利，對他說：“耶和華這樣說：‘你父家在埃及法老家為奴的時候，我不是向他們顯現嗎？我不是從以色列眾支派中，選出他們作我的祭司，上我的壇燒香，在我面前穿以弗得嗎？我不是把以色列人所獻的火祭，都賜給了你的父家嗎？

我兒啊，不要這樣，因為我聽見的消息很不好，你們使耶和華的子民違背律法。

拿單對大衛說：“你就是那人！耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你從掃羅的手裡救了出來，把你主人的家賜給你，把你主人的妻妾交在你懷裡，又把以色列和猶大家賜給你。如果太少了，我還可以多多加給你。你為甚麼藐視耶和華的話，行他看為惡的事呢？你用刀擊殺了赫人烏利亞，娶了他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉著亞捫人的刀殺了烏利亞。所以，從今以後，刀劍必不離開你的家，因為你藐視了我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻子作你的妻子。’耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我必從你家中興起禍患攻擊你；我要在你的眼前把你的妃嬪拿去賜給你的同伴。他要在光天化日之下與她們同床。

他使有權能的失位，叫卑微的升高，

現在求我主我王聽你僕人的話。如果是耶和華激動你攻擊我，願耶和華收納祭物；如果是人激動你，願他們在耶和華面前受咒詛，因為他們今天把我趕出來，不容我在耶和華的產業上有分，說：‘你去服事別的神吧！’

撒母耳說：“從前你雖然自以為微小，不是作了以色列眾支派的首領嗎？耶和華膏立了你作以色列的王，差遣你去，說：‘你去徹底毀滅那些犯罪的亞瑪力人，攻打他們，直到把他們全部毀滅。’你為甚麼沒有聽從耶和華的話，急於奪取戰利品，作了耶和華看為惡的事呢？”

摩西對亞倫說：“這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷在大罪裡呢？”

因此，無論誰廢除誡命中最小的一條，又這樣教導人，他在天國中必稱為最小的；但若有人遵行這些誡命，並且教導人遵行，他在天國中必稱為大。

為了耶羅波安所犯的罪，又為了他使以色列人所犯的罪，耶和華必丟棄以色列人。”

拿答行耶和華看為惡的事，跟隨他父親的路，犯他父親使以色列人陷在罪中的那罪。
