爾往告耶羅波安曰、主以色列之天主如是云、我舉爾於民中、立爾為我民以色列之君、

Go, tell Jeroboam that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ I raised you up from among the people and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.

Go. Tell Jeroboam that the Lord has a message for him. The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ I chose you from among the people. I appointed you king over my people Israel.

Give your husband, Jeroboam, this message from the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ I promoted you from the ranks of the common people and made you ruler over my people Israel.

Go tell Jeroboam,‘ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: I raised you up from among the people, appointed you ruler over my people Israel,

Go, say to Jeroboam,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:“ Because I exalted you from among the people and made you leader over My people Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam,‘ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you ruler over My people Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

Go tell Jeroboam,‘ This is what the Lord God of Israel says: I raised you up from among the people, appointed you ruler over My people Israel,

“ Since I exalted you out of the dust and made you leader over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made my people Israel to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,

I gave to the house of your father all my offerings by fire from the people of Israel.Why then do you scorn my sacrifices and my offerings that I commanded for my dwelling, and honor your sons above me by fattening yourselves on the choicest parts of every offering of my people Israel?’Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares:‘ I promised that your house and the house of your father should go in and out before me forever,’ but now the Lord declares:‘ Far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
