You must obey all I command you to do, follow my instructions, do what I approve, and keep my rules and commandments, like my servant David did. Then I will be with you and establish for you a lasting dynasty, as I did for David; I will give you Israel.

如爾聽從我命、行由我道、作善於我前、守我禁令禮儀、效我僕大闢所為、則我必祐爾、鞏固爾國、與大闢無異、以以色列族畀爾治之。

如爾聽從我命、遵行我道、為善於我前、謹守我律例誡命、效我僕大衛所為、則我必祐祐原文作偕爾、為爾建立恆久之家、如我為大衛建立然、將以色列人賜爾、

If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you.

Do everything I command you to do. Live the way I want you to. Do what is right in my eyes. Obey my rules and commands. That is what my servant David did. If you do those things, I will be with you. I will build you a kingdom. It will last as long as the one I built for David. I will give Israel to you.

And if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, I will be with you and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.

If you listen to what I tell you and follow my ways and do whatever I consider to be right, and if you obey my decrees and commands, as my servant David did, then I will always be with you. I will establish an enduring dynasty for you as I did for David, and I will give Israel to you.

and during the time when I appointed judges to lead my people Israel. Instead, I will give you relief from all your enemies. The LORD declares to you that he himself will build a dynastic house for you.

No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone.

The LORD is indeed going before you– he will be with you; he will not fail you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged!”

if you carefully obey him by keeping all these commandments that I am giving you today.

“ As for this temple you are building, if you follow my rules, observe my regulations, and obey all my commandments, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David.

so you may gain lasting fame, as people say,‘ The LORD of hosts is God over Israel!’ The dynasty of your servant David will be established before you,for you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have told your servant,‘ I will build you a dynastic house.’ That is why your servant has had the courage to pray this prayer to you.Now, O sovereign LORD, you are the true God! May your words prove to be true! You have made this good promise to your servant!Now be willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O sovereign LORD, have spoken. By your blessing may your servant’s dynasty be blessed on into the future!”

And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,

and during the time when I appointed judges to lead my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies.“‘“ I declare to you that the LORD will build a dynastic house for you!

“ The LORD who rules over all says,‘ If you live and work according to my requirements, you will be able to preside over my temple and attend to my courtyards, and I will allow you to come and go among these others who are standing by you.

Your house and your kingdom will stand before me permanently; your dynasty will be permanent.’”

If you follow my instructions by obeying my rules and regulations, just as your father David did, then I will grant you long life.”

so it may become a reality and you may gain lasting fame, as people say,‘ The LORD who commands armies is the God of Israel.’ David’s dynasty will be established before you,for you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a dynasty for him. That is why your servant has had the courage to pray to you.Now, O LORD, you are the true God; you have made this good promise to your servant.Now you are willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O LORD, have blessed it and it will be blessed from now on into the future.”

You must serve me with integrity and sincerity, just as your father David did. Do everything I commanded and obey my rules and regulations.Then I will allow your dynasty to rule over Israel permanently, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Go, tell Jeroboam,‘ This is what the LORD God of Israel says:“ I raised you up from among the people and made you ruler over my people Israel.I tore the kingdom away from the Davidic dynasty and gave it to you. But you are not like my servant David, who kept my commandments and followed me wholeheartedly by doing only what I approve.You have sinned more than all who came before you. You went and angered me by making other gods, formed out of metal; you have completely disregarded me.So I am ready to bring disaster on the dynasty of Jeroboam. I will cut off every last male belonging to Jeroboam in Israel, including even the weak and incapacitated. I will burn up the dynasty of Jeroboam, just as one burns manure until it is completely consumed.Dogs will eat the members of your family who die in the city, and the birds of the sky will eat the ones who die in the country.”’ Indeed, the LORD has announced it!“ As for you, get up and go home. When you set foot in the city, the boy will die.All Israel will mourn him and bury him. He is the only one in Jeroboam’s family who will receive a decent burial, for he is the only one in whom the LORD God of Israel found anything good.The LORD will raise up a king over Israel who will cut off Jeroboam’s dynasty. It is ready to happen!
