撒母耳謂民曰、主所選者、爾觀之乎、爾觀之乎或作今爾觀之也一切民中、無有似之者、民眾歡呼曰、願王萬歲、

爾當取上品之香料、即沒藥五百舍客勒、香肉桂其數之半、即二百五十舍客勒、香菖蒲二百五十舍客勒、桂皮五百舍客勒、皆循聖所權衡之舍客勒、再取油果油一欣、用此諸物、以調和香膏法作聖膏、以此膏膏會幕與法匱、案與其一切器具、燈臺與其器具、並焚香臺、又膏火焚祭臺與其一切器具、洗濯之盤與其座、爾膏此諸物、使之為至聖、凡倚近此諸物者亦必成聖、又膏亞倫與其諸子區別為聖、為祭司奉事我、爾告以色列人曰、此膏當歷代以為聖物歸於我、毋傾於他人之身、毋按此法私製如此之膏、是乃聖膏、爾當以之為聖、凡以此法私調和如此之膏、或以此膏膏他人者、其人必滅絕於民中、○
