我們知道，凡從神生的，必不犯罪；從神生的那一位，必保守他，那邪惡者無法加害於他。

我儕知凡由天主而生者、不犯罪、由天主而生者、必自守、彼惡者不能害之、不能害之原文作不能近之

吾知凡為天主所生者、不犯罪；以有天主之惟一聖子為之監護、而元兇莫之能近也。

We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

We know that those who are children of God do not keep on sinning. The Son of God keeps them safe. The evil one can’t harm them.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

凡從神生的，不犯罪，因神的道存在他裏面，他也不能犯罪，因為他是由神所生的。

保守自己常在神的愛中，仰望我們主耶穌基督的憐憫，進入永生。

凡信耶穌是基督的，都是從神生的；凡愛生他之神的，也必愛從神生的。

我知道你的行為。看哪，我在你面前給你一個敞開的門，是沒有人能關的。我知道你有一點力量，也遵守我的道，沒有否認我的名。那屬撒但會堂的，自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊話的，我要使他們來到你腳前下拜，使他們知道我已經愛你了。因為你遵守了我堅忍的道，我也必在普天下人受試煉的時候保守你免受試煉。

我阻止我的腳走一切邪路，為要遵守你的話。

你們蒙了重生，不是由於會朽壞的種子，而是由於不會朽壞的種子，是藉着神永活常存的道。

他按自己的旨意，用真理的道生了我們，使我們在他所造的萬物中成為初熟的果子。

我不再和你們多說了，因為這世界的統治者將到，他在我身上一無所能。

不要像該隱；他是屬那邪惡者，殺了自己的弟弟。為甚麼殺了他呢？因為自己的行為是邪惡的，而弟弟的行為是正直的。

我們是屬神的，認識神的就聽從我們；不屬神的就不聽從我們。從此我們可以認出真理的靈和錯謬的靈來。

這些人不是從血生的，不是從情慾生的，也不是從人的意願生的，而是從神生的。

我曾說：「我要謹慎我的言行，免得我的舌頭犯罪；惡人在我面前的時候，我要用嚼環勒住我的口。」

願那能保守你們不失腳，使你們無瑕無疵、歡歡喜喜站在他榮耀之前的、

凡對他有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像他是潔淨的一樣。

論到人的行為，我謹守你嘴唇的言語，不走殘暴人的道路。

我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間，在撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有否認對我的信仰。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：「拉比，我們知道你是由神那裏來作老師的；因為你所行的神蹟，若沒有神同在，無人能行。」耶穌回答他說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」尼哥德慕對他說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」耶穌回答：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。
