因是、凡信天主聖子者、自有作證者寓乎其心。（或可譯其心中自有印證待攷）凡不置信於天主之證者、不啻以妄證之罪加諸天主矣。無他、天主為其聖子作證、而彼人竟莫之信也。

Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.

聖靈自己、和我們的靈一同作證我們乃是上帝的兒女。

為了你們是兒子，上帝就差遣出他兒子的靈、進入我們的心、來呼叫「阿爸！父啊！」。

那領受他的見證的、便是蓋上了印、承認上帝為真實。

我們若說「我們沒有犯過罪」，便是以上帝為撒謊者，他的道就不在我們裏面了。

你們又沒有他的話存在你們裏面，因為他差遣的這一位、你們竟不信。

上帝不是人、以致能撒謊，也不是人類、以致能後悔：他說話、哪不照着行呢？他發言、那不能成就呢？

有耳的應當聽聖靈向眾教會所說的話！得勝的、我必將隱藏的嗎哪賜給他，也必賜給他一塊白石子；石子上寫着新的名，除了領受者之外、沒有人認識的。」

凡信耶穌是基督的、都是由上帝而生的；凡愛那生者的，也愛那由他而生的。

因為你們已經死了，你們的生命是與基督一同藏在上帝裏面的。

因為乖僻人是永恆主所厭惡；正直人、主卻跟他親密。

我們所聽見的、有誰能相信呢？永恆主的膀臂向誰現露過呢？

於是龍向婦人發怒，就去對婦人其餘的後裔、對那執守上帝誡命、堅持為耶穌捨生作證的人、作戰；站在海邊沙上。
