Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

他要按着那能使萬有歸服自己的大能，把我們這卑賤的身體改變形狀，和他自己榮耀的身體相似。

既然我們眾人以揭去面紗的臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裏返照，就變成了與主有同樣的形像，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。

基督是你們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同在榮耀裏顯現。

我認為，現在的苦楚，若比起將來要顯示給我們的榮耀，是不足介意的。

父啊，我在哪裏，願你所賜給我的人也同我在哪裏，使他們看見你所賜給我的榮耀，因為創世以前，你已經愛我了。

同樣，基督既然一次獻上，擔當了許多人的罪，將來要第二次顯現，與罪無關，而是為了拯救熱切等候他的人。

因為凡被神的靈引導的都是神的兒子。你們所領受的不是奴僕的靈，仍舊害怕；所領受的是兒子名分的靈，因此我們呼叫：「阿爸，父！」

清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見神。

孩子們哪，你們要住在基督裏面。這樣，他若顯現，我們就可以坦然無懼；當他來臨的時候，在他面前不至於慚愧。

所以，我們總是勇敢的，並且知道，只要我們住在這身體內就是離開了主。因為我們行事為人是憑着信心，不是憑着眼見。我們勇敢，更情願離開身體，與主同住。
