論到生命之道、那從起初就有的、我們曾聽見、曾親眼看見、曾觀看而親手摸過的道：

有关生命之道，是从太初就有的，是我们所听到、所亲眼看到、所观察过、又亲手摸过的——

有關生命之道，是從太初就有的，是我們所聽到、所親眼看到、所觀察過、又親手摸過的——

維生之道、太初而有、我儕所聞所見、所瞻視而手捫者、

元始生命之道、余耳聞之、目擊之、手捫之、

太初所有生命之道、道或作言下同我儕所聞、親目所睹、我儕所觀、親手所捫者、

吾人所言者、乃元始生命之道、而亦吾人所曾耳濡目染、躬自瞻仰、親受撫摩者也。

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched— this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

Here is what we announce to everyone about the Word of life. The Word was already here from the beginning. We have heard him. We have seen him with our eyes. We have looked at him. Our hands have touched him.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—

That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the Word of life—

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

This is what we proclaim to you: what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and our hands have touched( concerning the word of life–

然後對多馬說：『拿你的指頭到這裏來、看看我的手；拿你的手探入我的肋旁；別無信心了！務要有信心！』

父差遣了兒子做世界的救主：是我們親自見過，如今並且作見證的。

看我的手我的腳，是我自己；摸我看看！靈是沒有肉和骨頭，像你們看我是有的。』

我們從前將我們主耶穌基督的大能力和御臨的事告訴你們，並不是隨從乖巧揑造的荒唐傳說，我們乃是親眼見過他威榮的人。因為他從父上帝接受尊貴榮耀的時候、有以下這樣的聲音由「大威嚴的榮耀」裏傳出來，對他說：『這是我所愛的兒子，我所喜悅的』。這從天上傳出來的聲音、我們真地聽見了，因為我們和他同在聖山上。

我一看見他，就仆倒在他腳前，像個死人。他把右手按着我說：『別怕了；我是首先的，末後的，永活的；我曾經死，如今你看，我是永遠活着、世世無窮的；我並且執有死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

『你要寫信給在士每拿教會的使者說：『「那首先的、末後的、曾經死又活過來的、這麼說：

他受害之後、用許多確據向使徒明示自己是活的，四十天之間向他們顯象，講論上帝的國。

他披着浸過血的衣裳；他的名字稱為「上帝之道」。

作見證的有三樣：

但是你、伯利恆以法他啊，你在猶大諸鄉村中雖然細小，將來必有一位從你那裏為我而出，在以色列中做統治者；他的根源出於亙古，出於往古之日。

父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了那從起初就有的。青年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們勝過了那邪惡者。小孩子們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了父。父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了那從起初就有的。青年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們強壯，上帝的道長存在你們裏面，你們也勝過了那邪惡者。

誰作這事而成就它，誰從起初召喚歷代呢？我永恆主、這起初者、與末終者：我就是啊。

在永恆主行化之起頭、他就造了我，做他從太初所作的頭一項。從亙古、從起初、從地之起點開始以前，他就立了我。沒有深淵、沒有浩瀚之水的泉源以先，我已誕生。大山未曾奠下，小山未有之先，我已誕生；那時永恆主還沒有造大地和原野，也未曾造世界上塵土之頭一團。他立定了天，我在那裏；他在深淵面上畫了天穹，使雲霄堅固於上面，使深淵的水泉穩定；他為洋海定出界限，叫水不越犯其命令，他又畫定了大地的根基；那時我在他身邊為小孩，天天愉快喜悅，時時在他面前嬉戲，嬉戲於世界、於他的大地，跟人類一同喜悅。

說着話說：『你所看見的要寫在書上，寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、那七個教會。』

那看見的人作了見證（他的見證是真實：他知道他是說實話），使你們也可以信。
