他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、

他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、

他人尚且對爾享此權利、況吾儕乎？然吾儕向未行使此權、而甘受困乏者、蓋不欲在基督福音道上、置任何之障礙也。

If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

Others have the right to receive help from you. Don’t we have even more right to do so? But we didn’t use that right. No, we have put up with everything. We didn’t want to keep the good news of Christ from spreading.

If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? However, we have not made use of this right; instead we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others be partakers of[ this] power over you,[ are] not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

既是這樣，我的賞賜是甚麼呢？就是我傳福音的時候叫人不花錢得福音，免得用盡我傳福音的權柄。

我現在所做的，後來還要做，為要斷絕那些尋機會人的機會，使他們在所誇的事上也不過與我們一樣。

但這權柄我全沒有用過。我寫這話，並非要你們這樣待我，因為我寧可死也不叫人使我所誇的落了空。

我因為白白傳神的福音給你們，就自居卑微，叫你們高升，這算是我犯罪嗎？我虧負了別的教會，向他們取了工價來給你們效力。我在你們那裏缺乏的時候，並沒有累着你們一個人；因我所缺乏的，那從馬其頓來的弟兄們都補足了。我向來凡事謹守，後來也必謹守，總不至於累着你們。既有基督的誠實在我裏面，就無人能在亞該亞一帶地方阻擋我這自誇。

你們律法師有禍了！因為你們把知識的鑰匙奪了去，自己不進去，正要進去的人你們也阻擋他們。」

你們彼此告狀，這已經是你們的大錯了。為甚麼不情願受欺呢？為甚麼不情願吃虧呢？

大家同謀要來攻擊耶路撒冷，使城內擾亂。

直到如今，我們還是又飢又渴，又赤身露體，又挨打，又沒有一定的住處，並且勞苦，親手做工。被人咒罵，我們就祝福；被人逼迫，我們就忍受；

他們本是製造帳棚為業。保羅因與他們同業，就和他們同住做工。

我們凡事都不叫人有妨礙，免得這職分被人毀謗；

我因多次被攔阻，總不得到你們那裏去。

僕人說：「耶和華既賜給我通達的道路，你們不要躭誤我，請打發我走，回我主人那裏去吧。」

假若在別人，我不是使徒，在你們，我總是使徒，因為你們在主裏正是我作使徒的印證。

也未嘗白吃人的飯，倒是辛苦勞碌，晝夜做工，免得叫你們一人受累。這並不是因我們沒有權柄，乃是要給你們作榜樣，叫你們效法我們。

所以你們應當警醒，記念我三年之久晝夜不住地流淚、勸戒你們各人。如今我把你們交託神和他恩惠的道；這道能建立你們，叫你們和一切成聖的人同得基業。我未曾貪圖一個人的金、銀、衣服。我這兩隻手常供給我和同人的需用，這是你們自己知道的。

我寫這話，不是叫你們羞愧，乃是警戒你們，好像我所親愛的兒女一樣。你們學基督的，師傅雖有一萬，為父的卻是不多，因我在基督耶穌裏用福音生了你們。

我們作基督的使徒，雖然可以叫人尊重，卻沒有向你們或向別人求榮耀；只在你們中間存心溫柔，如同母親乳養自己的孩子。我們既是這樣愛你們，不但願意將神的福音給你們，連自己的性命也願意給你們，因你們是我們所疼愛的。弟兄們，你們記念我們的辛苦勞碌，晝夜做工，傳神的福音給你們，免得叫你們一人受累。

假若有人強你們作奴僕，或侵吞你們，或擄掠你們，或侮慢你們，或打你們的臉，你們都能忍耐他。

除了我不累着你們這一件事，你們還有甚麼事不及別的教會呢？這不公之處，求你們饒恕我吧。如今，我打算第三次到你們那裏去，也必不累着你們；因我所求的是你們，不是你們的財物。兒女不該為父母積財，父母該為兒女積財。
