如果别人有权要求你们供应他们，我们岂不更有权吗？可是我们从来没有用过这权利，反而凡事忍耐，免得妨碍了基督的福音。

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、

他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、

他人尚且對爾享此權利、況吾儕乎？然吾儕向未行使此權、而甘受困乏者、蓋不欲在基督福音道上、置任何之障礙也。

If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

Others have the right to receive help from you. Don’t we have even more right to do so? But we didn’t use that right. No, we have put up with everything. We didn’t want to keep the good news of Christ from spreading.

If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

我能得到什么奖赏呢？就是我可以把福音白白地传给人，不使用自己因传福音而应有的权利。

我现在所做的，将来还会继续做下去，为了要断绝那些投机分子的机会，使他们无法吹嘘自己的职分与我们一样。

但是，我完全没有使用这权利，如今我谈这些事，并不是要你们这样待我。因为我宁死也不要让人抹杀我所夸耀的。

我为了把福音白白地传给你们，甘愿卑微，以擢升你们，我这样做有罪吗？我“抢夺”其他教会，拿了他们的资助，来服侍你们。我在你们那里经济拮据的时候，没有拖累过你们任何人，因为马其顿来的弟兄姊妹补足了我的缺乏。我没有在任何方面成为你们的负担，将来也不会成为你们的负担。我凭我心中基督的真理说，亚该亚地区无人会阻止我这样夸口。

“律法教师啊，你们有祸了！你们拿走了知识的钥匙，自己不进去，还阻挡那些正要进去的人。”

你们互相指控，已经是很大的失败，为什么不能甘愿受欺负、吃点亏呢？

便一起图谋袭击耶路撒冷，使城内混乱。

我们至今还是又饥又渴，衣不蔽体，遭受毒打，居无定所，还要亲手劳作。我们被人咒骂，就为对方祝福；受人迫害，就逆来顺受；

他们夫妇跟保罗是同行，都以制造帐篷为业，保罗就留下来和他们同住，一起做工。

为了避免有人毁谤我们的职分，我们凡事尽量不妨碍别人，

因此，我一直受到拦阻，不能到你们那里。

可是，老总管说：“既然耶和华已经使我一路顺利，请你们不要挽留我，请让我回到我主人那里。”

即使对别人来说我不是使徒，对你们来说我也是使徒，因为你们就是我在主里做使徒的印证。

也没有白吃谁的饭，而是昼夜辛勤工作，免得成为你们任何人的负担。我们并不是没有权利接受供应，而是要给你们树立学习的榜样。

所以你们一定要警醒，牢记这三年来我怎样昼夜不住地流着泪劝诫你们。“现在，我把你们交托给上帝和祂充满恩典的道，这道能造就你们，使你们与一切圣洁的人同得产业。我从未贪图别人的金银和衣服，你们都知道，我亲手做工养活自己和同工。

我之所以写这些事，并非是叫你们羞愧，而是像劝诫我亲爱的儿女一样劝诫你们。虽然有千万老师将基督的事教导你们，但父亲并不多，因为我借着福音在基督耶稣里成为你们的父亲。

我们不求得到你们或其他任何人的赞扬。身为基督的使徒，我们理当受到你们的尊重，然而我们像母亲抚育婴儿一样温柔地对待你们。我们深爱你们，对你们有深厚的感情，不仅乐意把上帝的福音传给你们，甚至把生命给你们也在所不惜。弟兄姊妹，你们一定记得我们的劳苦和艰难。我们一面向你们传福音，一面昼夜辛勤工作，免得成为你们任何人的负担。

就算有人奴役、剥削、利用、侮辱你们，打你们耳光，你们都能逆来顺受！

你们什么地方不及其他教会呢？我唯一“亏待”你们的地方就是没有成为你们的负担！希望各位原谅我的不公道！如今我打算第三次到你们那里。我不会拖累你们的，因为我想得到的是你们，而不是你们的财物。儿女不必为父母积财，父母理当为儿女积财。
