諸君何行此乎、我儕亦人、與爾同情、特宣福音予爾、使去此虛妄、歸於維生上帝、即造天地海、及其中之萬有者、

居基路伯上、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝歟、天下萬國、惟爾為上帝、天地為爾所造、

人皆冥頑無知、金匠因其雕像而羞慚、所鑄之像、乃為虛偽、內無氣息、悉屬虛無、惑人之工、譴責之際、俱必滅亡、

謂木曰寤、謂啞石曰起、其人禍哉、此物豈能垂訓乎、彼飾以金銀、而中無生氣、惟耶和華在其聖殿、全地當靜默於其前、

爾所知也、此保羅勸導多人、使之轉移、謂手所作者非神、不第於以弗所、亦幾徧亞西亞、爾亦聞且見之矣、

然則何謂耶、言祭像之物為足稱乎、抑像為足稱乎、乃謂異邦所祭者祭鬼耳、非上帝也、我不欲爾與於鬼也、

我乃耶和華、我外無他、別無上帝、爾雖未識我、我必束爾腰、

主耶和華歟、爾以大威大能、顯示爾僕、在天在地、尚有何神、能為爾所為、行爾所行大能之事乎、

耶和華又曰、埃及勞而得者、古實之貨財、及雄偉之西巴族、俱必歸爾、屬爾從爾、繫以鐵索而來、俯伏於爾前、禱曰、上帝誠在爾中、其外無他上帝、

或見爾有知識者、席坐偶像之廟、彼良心尚弱、豈不果於食祭像之物乎、

異邦偶像、乃銀乃金、人手所造、有口不言、有目不見、有耳不聞、有鼻不嗅、有手不挈、有足不行、喉不出言兮、造之者、賴之者、必似之兮、

我之上帝耶和華歟、拯我脫於其手、俾天下萬國、咸知惟爾為耶和華、○

而我儕有一上帝、天父是也、萬物本之、我儕歸之、且有一主、耶穌基督是也、萬物由之、我儕亦由之、然人不皆有此知識、至今有習於偶像者、而食若為祭物然、其良心尚弱、故見浼焉、

至於祭像之物、我知我眾皆有知識、第知識則驕矜、惟仁愛則建立、

爾勿畏葸、勿驚惶、我豈非自古宣示爾乎、爾為我證、我外豈有上帝乎、無有磐石、我不知其他也、造雕像者、悉為虛妄、其所悅者無益、彼之證者不見不知、必致愧怍、

人皆冥頑無知、金匠因其雕像而羞慚、所鑄之像、乃為虛偽、內無氣息、

願榮威權力、由我主耶穌基督歸之、先乎萬古以迄於今、至於世世、阿們、

當知我之為我、無神偕我、我使人死、亦使人生、我傷之、亦醫之、無能拯於我手、

惟耶和華誠為上帝、乃維生之上帝、永久之王、震怒則大地顫動、發忿則列國莫當、○

願尊榮歸於永世、無敝無形之王、獨一之上帝、爰及世世、阿們、○
