Then the weak person, the brother for whom Christ died, is ruined by your knowledge.

這樣，那軟弱的人，就是基督為他而死的那弟兄，就會因你的知識被毀了。

懦弱之兄弟、基督為之死、乃因爾知識而淪亡、

如是、則知未至之兄弟、縱有基督代死、將以爾之知沉淪矣、

是爾荏弱之兄弟、雖基督已為之死、將因爾之知而淪亡矣、

是則爾之有知、適足陷稚弱兄弟於淪亡；而基督固為之捨生矣。

So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.

If so, then your knowledge destroys that weak brother or sister for whom Christ died.

And so by your knowledge this weak person is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died.

So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed.

So the weak person, the brother or sister for whom Christ died, is ruined by your knowledge.

For through your knowledge the one who is weak is ruined, the brother or sister for whose sake Christ died.

And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

For through thy knowledge he that is weak perisheth, the brother for whose sake Christ died.

And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

So by your knowledge the weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed.

And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whose sake Christ died.

For if your brother is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy that one Christ died for by what you eat.

Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.For even the Messiah did not please Himself. On the contrary, as it is written, The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.

Therefore, if food causes my brother to fall, I will never again eat meat, so that I won’t cause my brother to fall.

Do not tear down God’s work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong for a man to cause stumbling by what he eats.It is a noble thing not to eat meat, or drink wine, or do anything that makes your brother stumble.

just as I also try to please all people in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, so that they may be saved.Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ.
