妇人和处女也有分别。没有出嫁的，是为主的事挂虑，要身体、灵魂都圣洁；已经出嫁的，是为世上的事挂虑，想怎样叫丈夫喜悦。

于是，他就分心了。没有结婚的和未婚的女子是为主的事挂虑，为要身体和心灵都圣洁；已经出嫁的是为世上的事挂虑，想怎样让丈夫喜悦。

婦固與處子異、無夫者慮主之事、欲其體其神成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

婦與童女有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲其身與神皆成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

無夫者及處女、亦能專心事主、惟求神形之聖潔，有夫者則注意世故、兼欲取悅於夫矣。

and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world— how she can please her husband.

His concerns pull him in two directions. A single woman or a virgin is concerned about the Lord’s matters. She wants to serve the Lord with both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the matters of this world. She wants to know how she can please her husband.

and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.

His interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband.

玛大为了招待客人忙乱不已，于是上前对耶稣说：“主啊，我妹妹让我一个人伺候大家，你都不管吗？请你叫她来帮帮我吧。”耶稣对她说：“玛大，玛大，你为太多事情忧虑烦恼。其实最要紧的事只有一件，玛丽亚选择了上好的，是夺不走的。”

我殷切地期待和盼望：我不会感到任何羞愧，而是放胆无惧，不管是生是死，都要一如既往地使基督在我身上得到尊崇。

亚设支派中有一位八十四岁高龄的女先知名叫亚拿，是法内利的女儿，婚后七年便开始守寡，之后一直住在圣殿里，禁食祷告，日夜事奉上帝。

所以，弟兄姊妹，我凭上帝的怜悯劝你们献上自己的身体，作圣洁、蒙上帝悦纳的活祭。你们理当这样事奉。你们不可追随世界的潮流，要随着思想的不断更新而改变，这样就能明辨上帝的旨意，知道什么是良善、纯全、蒙祂悦纳的。

此外，我还挂虑众教会的事，天天承受着压力。

因为你们是上帝用重价买来的，所以你们要用自己的身体使祂得荣耀。

你们看，合乎上帝心意的忧伤使你们产生了何等的迫切感啊！你们热切地辩明自己的立场，对罪愤慨，恐惧战抖，期盼与我相见，疾恶如仇，惩处罪恶。你们在各方面已显明自己在那件事上是清白的。因此，虽然我给你们写过信，但并非为了那犯错的人或那受害的人而写的，而是为了让你们在上帝面前看到自己对我们所存的热心。

愿赐平安的上帝使你们完全圣洁！愿祂保守你们的灵、魂、体，使你们在主耶稣基督再来的时候无可指责！

以上这些话是可信的，希望你认真教导，使信上帝的人专心行善。这都是造福众人的美事。

一个人要是不懂得管理自己的家，又怎能照顾上帝的教会呢？

也不要将你们的身体献给罪作不义的工具，而是要像一个从死里复活的人将自己奉献给上帝，把身体献给上帝作义的工具。

感谢上帝！祂感动了提多的心，使他像我一样热诚地关怀你们。
