You say,“ Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿嗎？這聖靈是從神而來，住在你們裏頭的；並且你們不是自己的人，

豈不知你們是神的殿，神的靈住在你們裏頭嗎？

所以，不要容罪在你們必死的身上作王，使你們順從身子的私慾。

豈不知凡入口的，是運到肚子裏，又落在茅廁裏嗎？

因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。

豈不知你們的身子是基督的肢體嗎？我可以將基督的肢體作為娼妓的肢體嗎？斷乎不可！

神的旨意就是要你們成為聖潔，遠避淫行；要你們各人曉得怎樣用聖潔、尊貴守着自己的身體，不放縱私慾的邪情，像那不認識神的外邦人。不要一個人在這事上越分，欺負他的弟兄；因為這一類的事，主必報應，正如我預先對你們說過、又切切囑咐你們的。神召我們，本不是要我們沾染污穢，乃是要我們成為聖潔。

這都是照人所吩咐、所教導的。說到這一切，正用的時候就都敗壞了。這些規條使人徒有智慧之名，用私意崇拜，自表謙卑，苦待己身，其實在克制肉體的情慾上是毫無功效。

因為神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、和平，並聖靈中的喜樂。

因為不是入他的心，乃是入他的肚腹，又落到茅廁裏（這是說，各樣的食物都是潔淨的）」；

不要為那必壞的食物勞力，要為那存到永生的食物勞力，就是人子要賜給你們的，因為人子是父神所印證的。」

我們沒有一個人為自己活，也沒有一個人為自己死。我們若活着，是為主而活；若死了，是為主而死。所以，我們或活或死總是主的人。因此，基督死了，又活了，為要作死人並活人的主。

所以，弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的。

你們的祖宗在曠野吃過嗎哪，還是死了。

我的弟兄們，這樣說來，你們藉着基督的身體，在律法上也是死了，叫你們歸於別人，就是歸於那從死裏復活的，叫我們結果子給神。

並且他替眾人死，是叫那些活着的人不再為自己活，乃為替他們死而復活的主活。

這都是污穢人的；至於不洗手吃飯，那卻不污穢人。」

並且都吃了一樣的靈食，也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨着他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。但他們中間多半是神不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。

我為你們起的憤恨，原是神那樣的憤恨。因為我曾把你們許配一個丈夫，要把你們如同貞潔的童女，獻給基督。
