所以，當把你們屬世的各個部分看為死了的，就如淫亂、汙穢、邪情、惡慾和貪心，貪心就是拜偶像。

你們要逃避淫亂。「人所犯的各樣罪都在身體以外」，只有那行淫亂的是對自己的身體犯罪。

難道你們不知道，不義的人不會繼承神的國嗎？不要被迷惑了！無論是淫亂的、拜偶像的、通姦的、做孌童的、同性戀的、

肉體的行為是清清楚楚的，它們就是：通姦、淫亂、汙穢、好色、

「食物是為了肚子，肚子是為了食物」，但神將要把這兩樣都廢除。身體不是為了淫亂，而是為了主；主也是為了身體。

不過要寫信給他們：要遠避偶像的汙穢，遠避淫亂、勒死的動物和血。

但如今我寫給你們的是：如果有人被稱為弟兄，卻是淫亂的、或貪心的、或拜偶像的、或誹謗人的、或酗酒的、或勒索人的，你們不可與他交往，連與這樣的人一起吃飯都不可。

恐怕我來的時候，我的神會使我在你們面前再一次蒙羞，而且因為許多人從前犯了罪，又不肯為他們所行的汙穢、淫亂和好色的事而悔改，我就會悲傷。

就是要遠避祭過偶像的食物，遠避血和勒死的動物，遠避淫亂。你們如果保守自己遠離這些，就做得很好了。祝你們安康！」

要知道，神召喚我們，不是要我們沾染汙穢，而是要我們分別為聖。

因此我雖然給你們寫了信，但不是為了那虧負人的，也不是為了那受虧負的，而是為了在神面前把你們對我們的殷勤，向你們顯明出來。

我的弟兄們，事實上，克洛伊家的一些人告訴了我有關你們的事，說你們中間有紛爭。
