他要差遣天使，用大聲的號筒，從四方，從天這邊直到天那邊，召集他的選民。」

因為，召集令一發，天使長的呼聲一叫，神的號角一吹，主必親自從天降臨；那在基督裏死了的人必先復活，然後我們這些活着還存留的人必和他們一同被提到雲裏，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主永遠同在。

我實實在在地告訴你們，時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。

你們不要對這事感到驚訝，因為時候將到，凡在墳墓裏的，都要聽見他的聲音，

當那日，號角大響；在亞述地將亡的，與被趕散至埃及地的，都要前來，在耶路撒冷聖山上敬拜耶和華。

但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。

死人復活也是這樣。所種的是會朽壞的，復活的是不朽壞的；

我觀看，聽見一隻在空中飛的鷹大聲說：「禍哉！禍哉！禍哉！地上的居民哪，其餘的三位天使快要吹號了！」

第六位天使吹號，我聽見有聲音從神面前金壇的四角發出來，吩咐那吹號的第六位天使，說：「把那捆綁在幼發拉底大河的四個使者釋放了。」

耶和華要顯現在他們身上，他的箭要射出如閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。

我看見那站在神面前的七位天使，有七枝號賜給他們。

世上所有的居民，住在地上的人哪，山上大旗豎起時，你們要看，號角吹響時，你們要聽。

他們轉眼之間成了何等荒涼！他們被驚恐滅盡了。

弟兄們，我要告訴你們的是：血肉之軀不能承受神的國，必朽壞的也不能承受不朽壞的。

到了第三天早晨，山上有雷轟、閃電和密雲，並且角聲非常響亮，營中的百姓盡都戰抖。

守望者見刀劍臨到那地，若吹角警戒百姓，

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，百姓看見就都戰抖，遠遠站着。

耶和華對摩西說：「你對以色列人說：『你們是硬着頸項的百姓，我若在你們中間一起上去，只一瞬間，就必把你們滅絕。現在把你們身上的首飾摘下來，我好知道該怎樣處置你們。』」

若只吹一枝，眾領袖，就是以色列部隊的官長，要到你那裏聚集。

「你們離開這會眾，我好立刻把他們滅絕。」他們二人就臉伏於地。

倘若守望者見刀劍臨到，卻不吹角，以致百姓未受警戒，刀劍來殺了他們中間的一個人，這人雖然因自己的罪孽而死，我卻要從守望者的手裏討他的血債。

「你們離開這會眾，我好立刻把他們滅絕。」
