他要差遣使者，用号筒的大声，将他的选民，从四方，从天这边到天那边，都招聚了来。”

因为主必亲自从天降临，有呼叫的声音和天使长的声音，又有神的号吹响；那在基督里死了的人必先复活。以后我们这活着还存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相遇。这样，我们就要和主永远同在。

我实实在在地告诉你们，时候将到，现在就是了，死人要听见神儿子的声音，听见的人就要活了。

你们不要把这事看作希奇。时候要到，凡在坟墓里的，都要听见他的声音，就出来：

当那日，必大发角声，在亚述地将要灭亡的，并在埃及地被赶散的，都要来，他们就在耶路撒冷圣山上敬拜耶和华。

但主的日子要像贼来到一样。那日，天必大有响声废去，有形质的都要被烈火销化，地和其上的物都要烧尽了。

死人复活也是这样：所种的是必朽坏的，复活的是不朽坏的；

我又看见一个鹰飞在空中，并听见它大声说：“三位天使要吹那其余的号。你们住在地上的民，祸哉！祸哉！祸哉！”

第六位天使吹号，我就听见有声音从神面前金坛的四角出来，吩咐那吹号的第六位天使，说：“把那捆绑在幼发拉底大河的四个使者释放了。”

耶和华必显现在他们以上；他的箭必射出像闪电。主耶和华必吹角，乘南方的旋风而行。

我看见那站在神面前的七位天使，有七枝号赐给他们。

世上一切的居民和地上所住的人哪，山上竖立大旗的时候你们要看；吹角的时候你们要听。

他们转眼之间成了何等的荒凉！他们被惊恐灭尽了。

弟兄们，我告诉你们说，血肉之体不能承受神的国，必朽坏的不能承受不朽坏的。

到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轰、闪电，和密云，并且角声甚大，营中的百姓尽都发颤。

他见刀剑临到那地，若吹角警戒众民，

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，就都发颤，远远地站立，

耶和华对摩西说：“你告诉以色列人说：‘耶和华说：你们是硬着颈项的百姓，我若一霎时临到你们中间，必灭绝你们。现在你们要把身上的妆饰摘下来，使我可以知道怎样待你们。’”

若单吹一枝，众首领，就是以色列军中的统领，要聚集到你那里。

“你们离开这会众，我好在转眼之间把他们灭绝。”他们二人就俯伏于地。

倘若守望的人见刀剑临到，不吹角，以致民不受警戒，刀剑来杀了他们中间的一个人，他虽然死在罪孽之中，我却要向守望的人讨他丧命的罪。

“你们离开这会众，我好在转眼之间把他们灭绝。”
