其實，基督已經從死人中復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。

就在一剎那，眨眼之間，號筒末次吹響的時候。因號筒要吹響，死人要復活成為不朽壞的，我們也要改變。

既然你們屬於基督，你們就是亞伯拉罕的子孫，是照着應許承受產業的了。

你的死人要復活，我的屍首要起來。睡在塵土裏的啊，要醒起歌唱！你的甘露好像晨曦的甘露，地要交出陰魂。

你們只看事情的外表。倘若有人自信是屬基督的，他要再想想，他屬基督，我們也屬基督。

當我們的主耶穌再來，我們站在他面前的時候，我們的盼望、喜樂和所誇的冠冕是甚麼呢？不正是你們嗎？

凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體與肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。

而你們是屬基督的，基督是屬神的。

我們照主的話告訴你們一件事：我們這活着還存留到主來臨的人，絕不會在那已經睡了的人之先。因為，召集令一發，天使長的呼聲一叫，神的號角一吹，主必親自從天降臨；那在基督裏死了的人必先復活，然後我們這些活着還存留的人必和他們一同被提到雲裏，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主永遠同在。
