But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.

But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first keep silence.

If[ any thing] be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.

約伯啊，你當留心聽我；不要作聲，我要說話。你若有話說，可以回答我；你只管說，因我願以你為義。若不然，你當聽我；不要作聲，我要把智慧教導你。」

不要熄滅聖靈；不要藐視先知的講論。

「看哪，我等候你們的話，側耳聽你們的高見；直到你們找到要說的言語。

弟兄們，那麼，你們該怎麼做呢？你們聚會的時候，各人或有詩歌，或有教導，或有啟示，或有方言，或有翻出來，凡事都應當造就人。

「他們驚惶不再回答，一言不發。我豈因他們不說話，因他們站住不再回答，仍舊等候呢？我也要以我的一番話回答，我也要陳述我的意見。因為我滿懷言語，我裏面的靈激動我。看哪，我的肚腹如酒囊沒有氣孔，又如新皮袋快要破裂。我要說話，使我舒暢；我要張開嘴唇回答。

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教導，給你們講解，我對你們有甚麼益處呢？
