弟兄們，那麼該怎麼辦呢？你們聚集的時候，各人或有詩歌，或有教導，或有啟示，或有殊言，或有翻譯出來的話語——一切都要為了造就人。

兄弟乎、是當若何、爾既集、或歌詩、或施教、或述啟示、或言方言、或譯方言、皆宜為建德而行、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾既集、各人或頌詩、或教訓、或言諸國方言、或默示、或譯諸國方言、皆宜行之以輔德、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾曹既集、各人或歌頌、或教訓、

然則兄弟究應如何？爾等聚會時、各有貢獻、或以聖詠、或以教理、或以啟示、或以方言、或以繙譯；總之、亦在己立立人、己達達人而已矣。

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

Brothers and sisters, what should we say then? When you come together, each of you brings something. You bring a hymn or a teaching or a message from God. You bring a message in another language or explain what was said in that language. Everything must be done to build up the church.

What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.

What then, brothers and sisters? Whenever you come together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything is to be done for building up.

What is the outcome then, brothers and sisters? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification.

How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

應當用詩章、聖詩、靈歌，彼此呼應，口唱心和地讚美主。

所以，我們總要追求和睦的事，與彼此造就的事。

聖靈顯現在各人的身上，為的是要使人得著益處。有人藉著聖靈領受了智慧的言語，又有人靠著同一位聖靈領受了知識的言語，又有人因著同一位聖靈領受了信心，還有人因著這位聖靈領受了醫病的恩賜，另有人可以行神蹟，另有人可以講道，另有人可以辨別諸靈，也有人能說各種的方言，也有人能翻譯方言。

所以，你們應該彼此勸慰，互相造就，正如你們一向所行的。

全身靠著他，藉著每一個關節的支持，照著每部分的功用，配合聯繫起來，使身體漸漸長大，在愛中建立自己。

因此，我趁著不在你們那裡的時候，把這些話寫給你們，到我來了，就不必憑著主所給我的權柄嚴厲地對待你們。這權柄不是要拆毀你們，而是要建立你們。

你們一直以為我們是在向你們申辯嗎？我們是在基督裡，當著神面前說話的。親愛的，一切事都是為了建立你們。

你們也是這樣，你們既然熱切地渴慕屬靈的恩賜，就應當追求多多得著造就教會的恩賜。所以，說方言的應當祈求，使他能把方言翻譯出來。

凡事都要規規矩矩地按著次序行。

一句壞話也不可出口，卻要適當地說造就人的好話，使聽見的人得益處。

如果有人說方言，只可以有兩個人，或最多三個人，並且要輪流說，同時要有一個人翻譯。

為的是要裝備聖徒，去承擔聖工，建立基督的身體；

那說方言的是造就自己，但那講道的是造就教會。我願意你們都說方言，但我更願意你們都講道；因為那說方言的，如果不翻譯出來使教會得著造就，就遠不如那講道的了。弟兄們，你們想想，如果我到你們那裡去，只說方言，不向你們講有關啟示、知識、預言，或教訓的話，那我對你們有甚麼益處呢？
