使我無愛德、而具先知之靈賦、心通一切玄妙、一切知識、甚至有移山之信、則亦浮華無實耳。

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Suppose I have the gift of prophecy. Suppose I can understand all the secret things of God and know everything about him. And suppose I have enough faith to move mountains. If I don’t have love, I am nothing at all.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

不愛者、不識上帝、蓋上帝即愛也、

曰、信小故也、我誠語汝、有信如芥種、即命此山去此移彼、亦必移焉、

雖罄所有以施濟、又舍身被焚、若無愛、則於我無益、

爾讀之、可知我洞悉基督之奧秘、

亦為我祈、使我於啟口時、毅然闡明福音之奧秘、

大哉敬虔之奧、無不以為然也、彼顯於形軀、徵於心靈、見於天使、宣於列邦、信於天下、躋於光榮焉、

或謂我愛上帝而惡兄弟、則誑矣、蓋不愛既見之兄弟、不能愛未見之上帝也、愛上帝者亦宜愛兄弟、此我儕所受之誡也、

我故謂爾當依聖神而行、則不縱形軀之慾、

或由聖神賦以睿智之言、或由聖神賦以知識之言、又或由聖神賦以信德、或由聖神賦以醫術、更或賦以異能、或以預言、或辨諸神、或言方言、或譯方言、

道旁見無花果樹就之、無所得、惟葉而已、謂之曰、今而後、爾永不實、樹即枯、

宜趨愛、切慕神貺、其要者能預言也、言方言者、非與人言、乃與上帝言、因無人達之、惟以其心而言奧秘也、

惟上帝能堅爾眾、依我福音、及所宣之耶穌基督、並依所啟之奧秘、即自永古存於靜默者、

無而為有者、是自欺也、

兄弟乎、我不欲爾不知斯奧、恐爾自以為智、即以色列間有頑者、以待異邦人之盈數歸入焉、

上帝立人於會、一使徒、二先知、三教師、繼以異能、醫術、輔佐者、治理者、言方言者、

即歷世歷代所隱之奧秘、而今顯於聖徒者、

曰、天國之奧、予爾知之、不予他人也、

割與不割、皆無足重、惟守上帝誡而已、

使徒謂主曰、祈益我信、主曰、爾若有信如芥種一粒、即命此桑拔根植於海、亦必順爾、

兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言方言而不以啟示、知識、預言、教誨語爾、則何益哉、夫有聲無氣之物、如簫如琴、使不正其音、焉知所鼓吹者何歟、角聲無定、孰備戰乎、爾曹亦然、若舌不出易解之言、焉知所言乎、乃於空而言耳、

耶穌曰、宜信上帝、我誠語汝、凡命此山、移而投海、中心不疑、惟信所言必成者、則將得之也、

夫食祭像之物、我知在世之像為虛、上帝乃獨一無他、

彼日多人將語我云、主也主也、我非以爾名宣道、以爾名逐鬼、以爾名廣行異能乎、我將示之曰、我未嘗識爾、作不法者其去我、

乃作歌曰、比珥子巴蘭云、明目者有詞、聞上帝之言、知至上者之智慧、睹全能者之異象、身臥而目明者曰、我見之不於今日、我觀之非在近時、有一星焉、自雅各家而出、有一杖焉、自以色列而興、擊破摩押之隅、殲滅鼓譟之士、以東必為所獲、其敵西珥必為其業、以色列族毅然而行、操權者將出自雅各、殲滅斯邑之遺民、又望亞瑪力作歌曰、亞瑪力為列國之初興、終亦必亡、又望基尼族作歌曰、爾居鞏固、爾巢在於巖穴、雖然、基尼必將衰微、終為亞述所虜、乃賡載歌曰、噫嘻乎、上帝行是、孰能得生、有舟至自基提、虐遇亞述、苛待希伯、彼亦淪亡、

人當以我儕為基督之役、上帝奧秘之宰、

是以兄弟當慕預言、亦勿禁言方言、

我為愚矣、緣爾逼我、蓋我當為爾所舉、我雖不足數、而不亞於至大使徒、
