因此、目不得謂手曰：『爾於我何有；』首亦不得謂足曰：『我無需於爾也。』

The eye cannot say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”

The eye can’t say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” The head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”

The eye cannot say to the hand,“ I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet,“ I have no need of you.”

The eye can never say to the hand,“ I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you.”

The eye cannot say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”

And the eye cannot say to the hand,“ I have no need of you”; or again, the head to the feet,“ I have no need of you.”

So the eye cannot say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”

And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

The eye cannot say to the hand,“ I do not need you,” nor in turn can the head say to the foot,“ I do not need you.”

The eye can’t tell the hand,“ I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet,“ I have no need for you.”

So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah.Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.Then I said to the nobles, the rulers, and the rest of the people,“ The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall.Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”So we labored in the work, and half of the men held the spears from daybreak until the stars appeared.

Now while Ezra was praying, and while he was confessing, weeping, and bowing down before the house of God, a very large assembly of men, women, and children gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept very bitterly.And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, spoke up and said to Ezra,“ We have trespassed against our God, and have taken pagan wives from the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope in Israel in spite of this.Now therefore, let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and those who have been born to them, according to the advice of my master and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.Arise, for this matter is your responsibility. We also are with you. Be of good courage, and do it.”Then Ezra arose, and made the leaders of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel swear an oath that they would do according to this word. So they swore an oath.

Then David said to Abigail:“ Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me!

When the ear heard, then it blessed me, And when the eye saw, then it approved me;

So Moses said,“ Please do not leave, inasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.And it shall be, if you go with us— indeed it shall be— that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”
