我讚賞你們，因為你們凡事都想到我，並堅守我傳給你們的各種教導。

爾等事事以予為懷、且能遵守予之教訓、誠可嘉也；

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

I praise you for being faithful in remembering me. I also praise you for staying true to the teachings of the past. You have stayed true to them, just as I gave them to you.

Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you.

Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.

所以，各位弟兄姊妹，務要堅定不移，無論是我們信上的教導還是口頭的教導，你們都要堅守。

正因如此，我派了提摩太去你們那裡。他在主裡忠心耿耿，是我所愛的孩子。他會提醒你們我在基督裡如何行事為人，在各地、各教會如何教導人。

現在我有話要吩咐你們，不是稱讚你們，因為你們聚會不但無益，反而有害。

難道你們不可以在家裡吃喝嗎？還是你們輕看上帝的教會，存心羞辱那些貧窮的弟兄姊妹呢？我該說什麼呢？稱讚你們嗎？不可能！

你們若持守我傳給你們的，必因這福音而得救——除非你們沒有真正相信。

弟兄姊妹，現在我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，要遠離那些遊手好閒、不遵守我們教導的信徒。

最後，弟兄姊妹，既然你們領受了我們的教導，知道怎樣行才能討上帝的喜悅，如你們現在所行的，我們靠著主耶穌懇求、勸勉你們要更加努力。你們都知道我們靠著主耶穌傳給你們的誡命。

夫妻二人遵行主的一切誡命和條例，無可指責，在上帝眼中是義人。

她的兒女肅立，為她祝福，她的丈夫也稱讚她，說：「世上賢德的女子很多，唯有你無與倫比。」豔麗是虛假的，美貌是短暫的，唯有敬畏耶和華的女子配得稱讚。願她享受自己的勞動成果，願她的事蹟使她在城門口受稱讚。

各人應當依照上帝的呼召和安排生活，這是我對各教會的吩咐。

現在，提摩太剛從你們那裡回來，把有關你們信心和愛心的好消息告訴了我們。他說你們常常思念我們，很想見到我們，就像我們渴望見到你們一樣。
