我說話、講道不是靠充滿智慧的雄辯之詞，而是靠聖靈的能力作明證，好使你們的信仰不是以人的智慧為基礎，而是以上帝的能力為基礎。

我們棄絕了見不得人的可恥行為，不用狡詐的手段，不曲解上帝的道，而是把真理講解明白，好讓大家的良心在上帝面前為我們作證。

因為有人說：「他信中的話有分量，很嚴厲，他本人卻軟弱無能，言語粗俗。」
