Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave[ it] for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

今在耶和華會、以色列眾前、我上帝亦聞之、爾其尋求爾上帝耶和華之誡命、而遵守之、致爾據此美地、遺之子孫、以為永業、

今我在以色列族耶和華會前、對上帝告爾有眾、當恪守爾上帝耶和華禁令、則汝可據此腴壤、遺於子孫、以為恆業。

今我在主之會以色列眾前、主我之天主亦必聞我焉、告爾當盡力遵守主爾天主之一切誡命、如是、則爾可據有此美地、遺於爾後之子孫、以為永業、

“ So now I charge you in the sight of all Israel and of the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God: Be careful to follow all the commands of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever.

“ So I’m giving you a command in the sight of all the people of Israel. The Lord’ s community is watching. And our God is listening. I command you to be careful to follow all the commands of the Lord your God. Then you will own this good land. You will pass it on to your children after you as their share forever.

Now therefore in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever.

“ So now, with God as our witness, and in the sight of all Israel— the Lord’s assembly— I give you this charge. Be careful to obey all the commands of the Lord your God, so that you may continue to possess this good land and leave it to your children as a permanent inheritance.

“ So now in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, observe and follow all the commands of the LORD your God so that you may possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your descendants forever.

So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the presence of our God, keep and seek after all the commandments of the Lord your God so that you may possess the good land and leave it as an inheritance to your sons after you forever.

So now, in the sight of all Israel, the LORD’s assembly, and in the hearing of our God, I say this: Carefully observe all the commands of the LORD your God, so that you may possess this good land and may leave it as a permanent inheritance for your children after you.

Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, Yahweh’s assembly, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Yahweh your God; that you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever.

Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do[ them], that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,[ and] apply thine heart to understanding;Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,[ and] liftest up thy voice for understanding;If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as[ for] hid treasures;Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

Thou hast commanded[ us] to keep thy precepts diligently.

Keep therefore and do[ them]; for this[ is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation[ is] a wise and understanding people.

Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and[ that it may be] well with you, and[ that] ye may prolong[ your] days in the land which ye shall possess.Now these[ are] the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do[ them] in the land whither ye go to possess it:That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do[ it]; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers,[ with] all the men of Israel,

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it[ unto] the end.Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with[ my] whole heart.

A good[ man] leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner[ is] laid up for the just.

But with[ him] that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with[ him] that[ is] not here with us this day:

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong[ your] days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset[ us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of[ our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave[ it] for an inheritance to your children for ever.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
