Of all my sons— and the Lord has given me many— he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

The Lord has given me many sons. From all of them he has chosen my son Solomon. He wants Solomon to sit on the throne of the Lord’ s kingdom. He wants him to rule over Israel.

And of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons) he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

And from among my sons— for the Lord has given me many— he chose Solomon to succeed me on the throne of Israel and to rule over the Lord’s kingdom.

And out of all my sons— for the LORD has given me many sons— he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the LORD’s kingdom over Israel.

Of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons), He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

From all the many sons the LORD has given me, he chose Solomon my son to rule on his behalf over Israel.

Of all my sons( for Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of Yahweh’s kingdom over Israel.

神哪，求你把你的公正賜給王，把你的公義賜給王的兒子！願他以公義審斷你的子民，以公正審斷屬你的困苦人；願群山和岡陵藉著公義為百姓帶來平安；願他為子民中的困苦人施行審判，拯救貧窮人的兒女，壓碎那欺壓者。人們必敬畏你，如日之恆，如月之久，直到萬代。他必降臨，如同雨水降在割過的草地上，又如細雨滋潤大地。在他的日子裡，義人必興盛，並有豐盛的平安，如月長存。願他施行管轄，從這海直到那海，從大河直到地極。曠野的走獸將在他面前屈身，他的仇敵將舔食塵土。塔爾施和眾海島的君王們將帶來貢物，示巴和西拔的君王們將獻上禮物。所有的君王都要向他下拜，所有的國家都要服事他。他解救那呼救的貧窮人，以及那無人幫助的困苦人；他顧惜貧弱者和窮人，拯救窮人的性命；他從欺壓和殘暴中贖回他們的性命，他們的血在他眼中看為寶貴。願他長壽！願人把示巴的金子獻給他；願人一直為他禱告，終日祝福他。願五穀在大地、在群山的頂上豐盛；願它們的果實晃動，如同黎巴嫩的香柏樹；願城中人丁興旺，如同地上的牧草。願他的名存到永遠，如太陽長久；願人們因他蒙福，願所有的國家都稱他有福。耶和華神——獨行奇事的以色列的神，是當受頌讚的！他榮耀的名是當受頌讚的，直到永遠；願他的榮耀充滿全地！阿們，阿們！耶西的兒子大衛的禱告結束。

因為有一嬰孩為我們而生，有一兒子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩上，他的名必稱為「奇妙的謀士」、「全能的神」、「永恆的父」、「和平的君」，他的政權與平安必加增無窮；他必在大衛的寶座上統管他的國，以公正和公義使國堅立穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。
