“要用精金做一个灯台。灯台的座和干与杯、球、花，都要接连一块锤出来。灯台两旁要杈出六个枝子：这旁三个，那旁三个。这旁每枝上有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花；那旁每枝上也有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。从灯台杈出来的六个枝子都是如此。灯台上有四个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。灯台每两个枝子以下有球与枝子接连一块。灯台出的六个枝子都是如此。球和枝子要接连一块，都是一块精金锤出来的。要做灯台的七个灯盏。祭司要点这灯，使灯光对照。灯台的蜡剪和蜡花盘也是要精金的。做灯台和这一切的器具要用精金一他连得。

廊子的柱顶径四肘，刻着百合花。

我又问天使说：“这灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”我二次问他说：“这两根橄榄枝在两个流出金色油的金嘴旁边是什么意思？”他对我说：“你不知道这是什么意思吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是两个受膏者站在普天下主的旁边。”

论到你所看见、在我右手中的七星和七个金灯台的奥秘，那七星就是七个教会的使者，七灯台就是七个教会。”“你要写信给以弗所教会的使者说，那右手拿着七星，在七个金灯台中间行走的，说：

他又照所定的样式造十个金灯台放在殿里：五个在右边，五个在左边；

我转过身来，要看是谁发声与我说话；既转过来，就看见七个金灯台。灯台中间有一位好像人子，身穿长衣，直垂到脚，胸间束着金带。

他问我说：“你看见了什么？”我说：“我看见了一个纯金的灯台，顶上有灯盏，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏有七个管子。旁边有两棵橄榄树，一棵在灯盏的右边，一棵在灯盏的左边。”
