“要用纯金造一个灯台，灯台的灯座、灯柱、油杯、花瓣和花苞要用一块纯金打造。灯台的两边要各伸出三个分枝，共六个分枝。每个分枝要伸出三个杏花形状、有花瓣和花苞的杯，六个分枝都是这样。灯台上要有四个杏花形状、有花瓣和花苞的杯。灯台上每一对分枝的相连处要有花苞，三对都是这样。整座灯台，包括一切装饰，都要用一块纯金打造。此外，要为灯台造七个灯盏，放在灯台上面，照亮前面的地方。灯台用的灯剪和灯花盘都要用纯金造。造整座灯台和灯台的器具要用三十四公斤纯金。

门廊的柱冠高一点八米，形状像百合花。

我又问天使：“灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”然后我又问道：“流出橄榄油的两个金管旁边的两根橄榄枝是什么意思？”他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是侍立在天下之主旁边的两位受膏者。”

你所看见在我右手中的七颗星和七个金灯台的奥秘是，七颗星代表七间教会的天使，七个灯台代表七间教会。“你要写信告诉以弗所教会的天使，那位右手拿着七颗星、往来于七个金灯台中间的主说，

他照着所定的式样，造了十个金灯台放在殿里，五个在右边，五个在左边；

我转身看究竟是谁在对我说话，我看见七个金灯台，有一位好像人子耶稣的站在这些灯台中间。祂长袍垂脚，金带围胸，

他问我：“你看见了什么？”我说：“我看见一个纯金的灯台，上面有一个油碗，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏灯有七个灯芯。灯台旁边有两棵橄榄树，左右各一棵。”
