They divided them impartially by casting lots, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.

The priests were separated into their groups by casting lots. That was the fair way to do it. The priests were officials of the temple and officials of God. They came from the family lines of Eleazar and Ithamar.

聖殿的守衛長和祭司長聽了這些話，覺得很困惑，不知道這件事將來會怎樣。

約西亞手下的眾領袖也自願把祭牲送給人民、祭司和利未人；又有神殿的總管希勒家、撒迦利亞和耶歇，也把羔羊二千六百隻和公牛三百頭，送給祭司作逾越節的祭牲。

使徒們正對群眾講話的時候，祭司、聖殿的守衛長，和撒都該人來到他們那裡。

到了早上，所有的祭司長和民間的長老商議怎樣對付耶穌，好殺掉他。

約書亞就在示羅，在耶和華面前為他們抽籤；約書亞在那裡按著他們的支派把地分給以色列人。

水手就彼此說：“來吧！讓我們抽籤，好知道這場災禍臨到我們，是因誰的緣故。”於是他們抽籤，結果抽中了約拿。

還有管理神的殿的希勒家的兒子亞薩利雅；希勒家是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是撒督的兒子，撒督是米拉約的兒子，米拉約是亞希突的兒子。

以及神殿的總管西萊雅；西萊雅是希勒家的兒子，希勒家是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是撒督的兒子，撒督是米拉約的兒子，米拉約是亞希突的兒子；

那時，祭司長和民間的長老聚集在大祭司該亞法的官邸，

還有大祭司亞那和該亞法、約翰、亞歷山大，以及大祭司的家人，所有的人都在那裡。

籤拋在人的懷中，一切決斷卻在於耶和華。
