Their duty was also to assist with the showbread, the flour for the grain offering, the wafers of unleavened bread, the baked offering, the offering mixed with oil, and all measures of quantity or size.

And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven,[ it shall be] unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.And if thy oblation[ be] a meat offering[ baken] in a pan, it shall be[ of] fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it[ is] a meat offering.And if thy oblation[ be] a meat offering[ baken] in the fryingpan, it shall be made[ of] fine flour with oil.

Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five[ shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary:

And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.

[ Some] of them also[ were] appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.And[ some] of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.And Mattithiah,[ one] of the Levites, who[ was] the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.And[ other] of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites,[ were] over the shewbread, to prepare[ it] every sabbath.And these[ are] the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites,[ who remaining] in the chambers[ were] free: for they were employed in[ that] work day and night.These chief fathers of the Levites[ were] chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.

How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

And Solomon made all the vessels that[ pertained] unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread[ was],

Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also[ set they in order] upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.

For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy[ things], and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and[ for] all the work of the house of our God.

For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein[ was] the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
