只是耶和华的话临到我说：‘你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。

但耶和华对我说，‘你杀了许多人，打了很多仗，在我眼前使许多人血洒大地，因此你不可为我的名建造殿宇。

看哪，你必生一个儿子；他是个和平的人，我必使他得享太平，不被四围所有的仇敌骚扰；他的名字要叫所罗门，他在位的日子，我必把太平和安宁赐给以色列人。

看哪，你必生一個兒子；他是個和平的人，我必使他得享太平，不被四圍所有的仇敵騷擾；他的名字要叫所羅門，他在位的日子，我必把太平和安寧賜給以色列人。

看吧，你必生個兒子；他必是個安靜人；我必使他得享平靜、不被他四圍任何仇敵的騷擾；因為他的名字要叫所羅門；他在位的日子，我必將興隆太平賜給以色列人。

惟耶和華降諭於我曰、爾流人血甚多、屢經大戰、不可為我名建室、因爾多流人血於地、為我目擊、

惟耶和華命我曰、爾四方戰鬥、殺人甚眾、故不可建殿、為籲我名之所、

惟主諭我曰、爾流血甚多、屢有大戰、不可為我名建殿、因爾於我前、多流血於地、

But this word of the Lord came to me:‘ You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

But a message from the Lord came to me. It said,‘ You have spilled the blood of many people. You have fought many wars. You are not the one who will build a house for my Name. That is because I have seen you spill the blood of many people on the earth.

But the word of the Lord came to me, saying,‘ You have shed much blood and have waged great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed so much blood before me on the earth.

“ But the Lord said to me,‘ You have killed many men in the battles you have fought. And since you have shed so much blood in my sight, you will not be the one to build a Temple to honor my name.

but the word of the LORD came to me:‘ You have shed much blood and waged great wars. You are not to build a house for my name because you have shed so much blood on the ground before me.

But the word of the Lord came to me, saying,‘ You have shed much blood and have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to My name, because you have shed so much blood on the earth before Me.

But the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build a house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

but the word of the Lord came to me:‘ You have shed much blood and waged great wars. You are not to build a house for My name because you have shed so much blood on the ground before Me.

But the LORD said to me:‘ You have spilled a great deal of blood and fought many battles. You must not build a temple to honor me, for you have spilled a great deal of blood on the ground before me.

But Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,‘ You have shed blood abundantly, and have made great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

But God said to me,‘ You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and have shed blood.’ (niv)

“ You know that because of the wars waged against my father David from all sides, he could not build a temple for the Name of the Lord his God until the Lord put his enemies under his feet. (niv)

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in?I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling.Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, did I ever say to any of their rulers whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel,“ Why have you not built me a house of cedar?”’“ Now then, tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men on earth.And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginningand have done ever since the time I appointed leaders over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies.“‘ The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you: (niv)

Purify every garment as well as everything made of leather, goat hair or wood.” (niv)

On the seventh day wash your clothes and you will be clean. Then you may come into the camp.” (niv)
