他們尚未求告，我就應允；正說話的時候，我就垂聽。

於是，耶和華降下火來，燒盡燔祭、木柴、石頭、塵土，又燒乾了溝裏的水。

他若求告我，我就應允他；他在急難中，我與他同在；我要搭救他，使他尊貴。

主啊，求你使我嘴唇張開，我的口就傳揚讚美你的話！

摩西將耶和華一切的命令都寫下來。他清早起來，在山腳築了一座壇，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根石柱。他差派以色列的年輕人去獻燔祭，又宰牛獻給耶和華為平安祭。

火焰從壇上往上升，耶和華的使者也在壇上的火焰中升上去了。瑪挪亞和他的妻子看見，就臉伏於地。

你們求告你們神明的名，我也求告耶和華的名。那應允禱告降火的就是神。」眾百姓回答說：「好主意。」

你要為我築一座土壇，在上面獻牛羊為燔祭和平安祭。凡在我叫你記念我名的地方，我必到那裏賜福給你。你若為我築一座石壇，不可用鑿過的石頭，因為你在石頭上動了工具，就使壇污穢了。

當尊崇耶和華－我們的神，在他的聖山下拜，因為耶和華－我們的神本為聖！

所羅門祈禱完畢，就有火從天降下來，燒盡燔祭和祭物。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；
