David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress; please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great. But do not let me fall into human hands.”

大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫说：“我实在为难！不过我宁愿落在耶和华的手中，也不愿落在人的手中，因为耶和华有无限的怜悯。”

大卫对迦得说：“我十分作难，我情愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有极丰盛的怜悯，我不愿落在人的手里。”

大衛對迦得說：『我非常為難；讓我落在永恆主手裏吧，因為他有極豐盛的憐憫；可別讓我落在人手裏呀。』

大衛謂迦得曰、我處窘迫之境、耶和華矜恤維大、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手、

大闢曰、我迫阨甚矣。耶和華矜憫為懷、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手。

大衛謂迦得曰、我窘迫已極、或作我甚愁戚我願陷於主手、因主大施憐憫、不願陷於人手、

David said to Gad,“ I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

David said to Gad,“ I’m suffering terribly. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord. His mercy is very great. But don’t let me fall into human hands.”

Then David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is very great, but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

“ I’m in a desperate situation!” David replied to Gad.“ But let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great. Do not let me fall into human hands.”

David answered Gad,“ I’m in anguish. Please, let me fall into the LORD’s hands because his mercies are very great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

And David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall, I pray, into the hand of Jehovah; for very great are his mercies: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

David answered Gad,“ I’m in anguish. Please, let me fall into the Lord’s hands because His mercies are very great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great[ are] his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

David said to Gad,“ I am very upset! I prefer to be attacked by the LORD, for his mercy is very great; I do not want to be attacked by men!”

David said to Gad,“ I am in distress. Let me fall, I pray, into Yahweh’s hand; for his mercies are very great. Don’t let me fall into man’s hand.”

Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Israel, wait for the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.

But I am hard pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

“ Now My soul has become troubled; and what am I to say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

But there is forgiveness with You, So that You may be revered.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy.

Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him,“ This is hopeless, my master! What are we to do?”

A righteous person has regard for the life of his animal, But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.

But as for me, by Your abundant graciousness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.

They lift it on the shoulder, carry it, And set it in its place, and it stands there. It does not move from its place. Though one may shout to it, it cannot answer; It cannot save him from his distress.

Answer me, Lord, for Your mercy is good; According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me,

If we say,‘ We will enter the city,’ then the famine is in the city and we will die there; but if we sit here, we will also die. Now then come, and let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans. If they spare us, we will live; and if they kill us, then we will die.”

But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And cleanse me from my sin.

I was angry with My people, I profaned My heritage And handed them over to you. You did not show mercy to them, On the aged you made your yoke very heavy.

Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.

“ Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

“ All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king in the inner courtyard, who is not summoned, he has only one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days.”

But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, Slow to anger and abundant in mercy and truth.

But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army which came to Samaria and said to them,“ Behold, because the Lord, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, He has handed them over to you, and you have killed them in a rage which has even reached heaven.

I will make mention of the mercies of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has granted us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has granted them according to His compassion And according to the abundance of His mercies.

Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

Then he prayed to the Lord and said,“ Please Lord, was this not what I said when I was still in my own country? Therefore in anticipation of this I fled to Tarshish, since I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in mercy, and One who relents of disaster.

Who knows, God may turn and relent, and turn from His burning anger so that we will not perish.”

For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion In proportion to His abundant mercy.

Look down from heaven and see from Your holy and glorious lofty habitation; Where are Your zeal and Your mighty deeds? The stirrings of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained toward me.

Lord, I have heard the report about You, and I was afraid. Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make it known. In anger remember mercy.
