But he ignored the advice of the elders which they had given him, and consulted with the young men who had grown up with him and served him.He said to them,“ What advice do you give, so that we may answer this people who have spoken to me, saying,‘ Lighten the yoke which your father put on us’?”And the young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying,“ This is what you should say to this people who spoke to you, saying:‘ Your father made our yoke heavy, now you make it lighter for us!’ You should speak this way to them:‘ My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist!Now then, my father loaded you with a heavy yoke; yet I will add to your yoke. My father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions!’ ”

The house of Joseph had men spy out Bethel( the name of the city previously was Luz).And the spies saw a man coming out of the city, and they said to him,“ Please show us the entrance to the city, and we will treat you kindly.”

Judges 18:2
So the sons of Dan sent from their family five men out of their whole number, valiant men from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and to explore it; and they said to them,“ Go, explore the land.” And they came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and stayed overnight there.
