神在城的堡壘中，顯明自己是避難所。看哪！列王會合，一同前進。他們一見這城，就驚惶，慌忙逃跑。他們在那裡戰慄恐懼；他們痛苦好像婦人分娩時一樣。

他們服事了基大老瑪已經有十二年，到第十三年就背叛了。第十四年基大老瑪和同盟的王都來了，在亞特律．加寧擊敗了利乏音人，在哈麥擊敗了蘇西人，在沙微．基列亭擊敗了以米人，

因為他說：“在我手下的眾領袖不都是王嗎？

你以能力給我束腰，使我能夠作戰；你又使那些起來攻擊我的人都屈服在我的腳下。

因此大衛的名聲傳遍各地，耶和華使萬國都懼怕他。
