Joab said,“ Suppose the Arameans are too strong for me. Then you must come and help me. But suppose the Ammonites are too strong for you. Then I’ll come and help you.

Joab said,“ If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you are to rescue me; but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will rescue you.

And he said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me, but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will help you.

“ If the Arameans are too strong for me, then come over and help me,” Joab told his brother.“ And if the Ammonites are too strong for you, I will help you.

“ If the Arameans are too strong for me,” Joab said,“ then you’ll be my help. However, if the Ammonites are too strong for you, I’ll help you.

He said,“ If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the sons of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

Then he said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me; but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

“ If the Arameans are too strong for me,” Joab said,“ then you’ll be my help. However, if the Ammonites are too strong for you, I’ll help you.

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

Joab said,“ If the Arameans start to overpower me, you come to my rescue. If the Ammonites start to overpower you, I will come to your rescue.

He said,“ If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you are to help me; but if the children of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.

Carry one another’s heavy loads. If you do, you will fulfill the law of Christ.

No matter what happens, live in a way that brings honor to the good news about Christ. Then I will know that you remain strong together in the one Spirit. I will know this if I come and see you or only hear about you. I will know that you work together as one person. I will know that you work to spread the teachings about the good news.So don’t be afraid in any way of those who oppose you. This will show them that they will be destroyed and that you will be saved. That’s what God will do.

When you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us at that location. Our God will fight for us!”

Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.Suppose either of them falls down. Then the one can help the other one up. But suppose a person falls down and doesn’t have anyone to help them up. Then feel sorry for that person!Or suppose two people lie down together. Then they’ll keep warm. But how can one person keep warm alone?One person could be overpowered. But two people can stand up for themselves. And a rope made out of three cords isn’t easily broken.
