And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making for yourself a name for great and awesome things, in driving out nations before your people whom you redeemed from Egypt?

What other nation on earth is like your people Israel? What other nation, O God, have you redeemed from slavery to be your own people? You made a great name for yourself when you redeemed your people from Egypt. You performed awesome miracles and drove out the nations that stood in their way.

And who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation in the earth? Their God went to claim a nation for himself! You made a name for yourself by doing great and awesome deeds when you drove out nations before your people whom you had delivered from the Egyptian empire and its gods.

But I acted because of My name, so that it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations they were living among, in whose sight I had made Myself known to Israel by bringing them out of Egypt.“ So I brought them out of the land of Egypt and led them into the wilderness.

Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you; that is why I am giving you this command today.

You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all the people of his land, for You knew how arrogantly they treated our ancestors. You made a name for Yourself that endures to this day.

Say to God,“ How awe-inspiring are Your works! Your enemies will cringe before You because of Your great strength.All the earth will worship You and sing praise to You. They will sing praise to Your name.” SelahCome and see the wonders of God; His acts for humanity are awe-inspiring.He turned the sea into dry land, and they crossed the river on foot. You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, and He drives out many nations before you— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you—and when the Lord your God delivers them over to you and you defeat them, you must completely destroy them. Make no treaty with them and show them no mercy.

With power You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

He has sent redemption to His people. He has ordained His covenant forever. His name is holy and awe-inspiring.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

So the Lord gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled there.The Lord gave them rest on every side according to all He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies were able to stand against them, for the Lord handed over all their enemies to them.None of the good promises the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed. “‘ You then crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. The people of Jericho— as well as the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites, and Jebusites— fought against you, but I handed them over to you.I sent the hornet ahead of you, and it drove out the two Amorite kings before you. It was not by your sword or bow.

I will delay My anger for the honor of My name, and I will restrain Myself for your benefit and for My praise, so that you will not be destroyed.

Then the Lord said,“ I have observed the misery of My people in Egypt, and have heard them crying out because of their oppressors, and I know about their sufferings.I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

For what great nation is there that has a god near to it as the Lord our God is to us whenever we call to Him?

In all their suffering, He suffered, and the Angel of His Presence saved them. He redeemed them because of His love and compassion; He lifted them up and carried them all the days of the past.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Me.Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant, you will be My own possession out of all the peoples, although all the earth is Mine,and you will be My kingdom of priests and My holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.”

There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to your aid, the clouds in His majesty.The God of old is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you and commands,“ Destroy!”So Israel dwells securely; Jacob lives untroubled in a land of grain and new wine; even his skies drip with dew.How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is the shield that protects you, the sword you boast in. Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread on their backs.

Joshua captured all these kings and their land in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

“ Indeed, ask about the earlier days that preceded you, from the day God created man on the earth and from one end of the heavens to the other: Has anything like this great event ever happened, or has anything like it been heard of?Has a people heard God’s voice speaking from the fire as you have, and lived?Or has a god attempted to go and take a nation as his own out of another nation, by trials, signs, wonders, and war, by a strong hand and an outstretched arm, by great terrors, as the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

He sent His glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand, divided the waters before them to obtain eternal fame for Himself,

Let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim that He has redeemed them from the hand of the foe

When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains quaked at Your presence.

He has not done this for any nation; they do not know His judgments. Hallelujah!
