尼布甲尼撒王对住在全地各方、各国、各族的人说：“愿你们大享平安！我乐意宣扬至高神向我所行的神迹奇事。他的神迹何其大！他的奇事何其盛！他的国度存到永远；他的权柄存到万代！

地的四极都要想念耶和华，并且归顺他，列国的万族都要在你面前敬拜。

耶和华—我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道惟独你—耶和华是神！”
