As the ark of the covenant of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.

The ark of the covenant of the Lord was brought into the City of David. Saul’s daughter Michal was watching from a window. She saw King David dancing and celebrating. That made her hate him in her heart.

And as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.

But as the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David skipping about and laughing with joy, she was filled with contempt for him.

As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the city of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from the window and saw King David leaping and dancing, and she despised him in her heart.

When the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating; and she despised him in her heart.

And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the City of David, that Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David whirling and playing music; and she despised him in her heart.

And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of Jehovah came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

As the ark of the LORD’s covenant entered the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked out the window. When she saw King David jumping and celebrating, she despised him.

As the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

大卫回家要给眷属祝福；扫罗的女儿米甲出来迎接他，说：“以色列王今日在臣仆的婢女眼前露体，如同一个轻贱人无耻露体一样，有好大的荣耀啊！”大卫对米甲说：“这是在耶和华面前；耶和华已拣选我，废了你父和你父的全家，立我作耶和华民以色列的君，所以我必在耶和华面前跳舞。我也必更加卑微，自己看为轻贱。你所说的那些婢女，她们倒要尊敬我。”扫罗的女儿米甲，直到死日，没有生养儿女。

耶和华说：‘你们在国中生养众多；当那些日子，人必不再提说耶和华的约柜，不追想，不记念，不觉缺少，也不再制造。

有金香炉，有包金的约柜，柜里有盛吗哪的金罐和亚伦发过芽的杖，并两块约版；

大卫说：“好！我与你立约。但有一件，你来见我面的时候，若不将扫罗的女儿米甲带来，必不得见我的面。”大卫就打发人去见扫罗的儿子伊施波设，说：“你要将我的妻米甲归还我；她是我从前用一百非利士人的阳皮所聘定的。”

扫罗打发人到大卫的房屋那里窥探他，要等到天亮杀他。大卫的妻米甲对他说：“你今夜若不逃命，明日你要被杀。”于是米甲将大卫从窗户里缒下去，大卫就逃走，躲避了。米甲把家中的神像放在床上，头枕在山羊毛装的枕头上，用被遮盖。扫罗打发人去捉拿大卫，米甲说：“他病了。”扫罗又打发人去看大卫，说：“当连床将他抬来，我好杀他。”使者进去，看见床上有神像，头枕在山羊毛装的枕头上。扫罗对米甲说：“你为什么这样欺哄我，放我仇敌逃走呢？”米甲回答说：“他对我说：‘你放我走，不然我要杀你。’”

扫罗已将他的女儿米甲，就是大卫的妻，给了迦琳人拉亿的儿子帕提为妻。

那时，神的约柜在那里；亚伦的孙子、以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈侍立在约柜前。以色列人问耶和华说：“我们当再出去与我们弟兄便雅悯人打仗呢？还是罢兵呢？”耶和华说：“你们当上去，因为明日我必将他们交在你们手中。”

以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程；耶和华的约柜在前头行了三天的路程，为他们寻找安歇的地方。

亚伦的姐姐，女先知米利暗，手里拿着鼓；众妇女也跟她出去拿鼓跳舞。

必有感谢和欢乐的声音从其中发出，我要使他们增多，不致减少；使他们尊荣，不致卑微。

你们就对他们说：‘这是因为约旦河的水在耶和华的约柜前断绝；约柜过约旦河的时候，约旦河的水就断绝了。这些石头要作以色列人永远的纪念。’”

然而，属血气的人不领会神圣灵的事，反倒以为愚拙，并且不能知道，因为这些事惟有属灵的人才能看透。

大卫和跟随他的人起身前往，杀了二百非利士人，将阳皮满数交给王，为要作王的女婿。于是扫罗将女儿米甲给大卫为妻。扫罗见耶和华与大卫同在，又知道女儿米甲爱大卫，

击鼓跳舞赞美他！用丝弦的乐器和箫的声音赞美他！

“将这律法书放在耶和华你们神的约柜旁，可以在那里见证以色列人的不是；

哭有时，笑有时；哀恸有时，跳舞有时；

因我为你的缘故受了辱骂，满面羞愧。我的弟兄看我为外路人；我的同胞看我为外邦人。因我为你的殿心里焦急，如同火烧，并且辱骂你人的辱骂都落在我身上。

百姓回到营里，以色列的长老说：“耶和华今日为何使我们败在非利士人面前呢？我们不如将耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来，好在我们中间救我们脱离敌人的手。”

愿他们跳舞赞美他的名，击鼓弹琴歌颂他！

我们若果癫狂，是为神；若果谨守，是为你们。

必再听见有欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新妇的声音，并听见有人说：‘要称谢万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善；他的慈爱永远长存！’又有奉感谢祭到耶和华殿中之人的声音；因为我必使这地被掳的人归回，和起初一样。这是耶和华说的。”

还有人讥诮说：“他们无非是新酒灌满了。”

你已将我的哀哭变为跳舞，将我的麻衣脱去，给我披上喜乐，

大卫住在自己宫中，对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，耶和华的约柜反在幔子里。”
